Let's be honest, Human after all is extremely underrated.
No wonder this song sounds familiar It came on the radio and I couldn’t remember it until now
for me it's one of their best album i just like the vibe ... people are too sensitives i'm sure in the future that will be considered like one of their greatest work, there is a great artistic brush behind this album
This album doesn’t get the love it deserves. I’m sure people love it now
Alive 2007 made this album way better imo

i know. it’s my least favourite main one and i still love it.
Personal taste
This is probably my 3rd or second fav album 1st would be discovery and then R.A.M.
I like the mechanical feeling of this album but it's surely repetitive as people say (I personally liked it)
Human after all (song not the album) made my head hurt but the rest of it is actually pretty good

This wasn’t recommended, you searched to watch this awesome masterpiece
Of course. This is the real Daft Punk's fans lair
@@scylax4091 yep
Actually it just got recommended to me
Once you got this masterpiece in your head, it never leaves...
For me yes
So many people put this album down, but god I love it so much. Most underrated Daft Punk album. Like yeah, Discovery and RAM are better, but give Human After All a chance, people. Ditto for Homework. A lot of Daft Punk fans don't even know about Homework and that makes me sad. :(
Yeah, HAA deserves more credit. Comparatively, it's not as good as Homework or Discovery, mostly that it wasn't as impressive for the time of its release. I can hardly believe Homework came out in 1997, same with Discovery in 2001, but I can definitely believe HAA is a product of 2005. Nonetheless, I rank Human very close to the others. Like if I give Homework & Discovery a 6/5, I give HAA a 5/5. The critics and media make it seem like a 3/5, which isn't true at all. Human honestly has some of DP's best tracks! :D
Human after all is one of my favourite DP albums. It's this one that got me into them after all
RAM is the most popular one
Probably my favourite one outside of Discovery. RAM is a neat concept and wonderfully mastered but I just love the raw electronic sounds on here more. Human After All, Television Rules the Nation, Technologic, Emotion are high on my favourites of Daft Punk songs.
Back to the basics
1993-2021. Legends.
you'll never be forgotten daft punk
never
They made history!
They literaly create a musical genre
Who were they again?
Damn straight
is it weird this is my favorite album by Daft Punk
well discovery is a very close 2nd, but this album has a message, and is more robotic, which is literally Daft Punk, you feel? i'm not trying to offend you either
There's no worst Daft Punk album, just a "Less better" album, my favourite is Discovery also
Nah, I love it a lot too. Not sure if I like this better than RAM or not but they're both fantastic.
Joan Medina They're not worse or better, just different. I dislike the Alive albums, but that's not because they're bad. Just not my flavor.

The techno/electro music really gives the vibes of it's futuristic feelings to through or go to an awesome, wonderful all nighter or a house party, an really epic house party. Daft Punk are true legends.
Some info about this song down there:
BPM: 115.300
Scale: Major
noone cares about that, this is just a bop
it's clearly in minor tho? the home chord which starts the progression is minor
@@therealwisemysticaltree would have to disagree, the BPM is a lot of help when you're sampling something

@@hexdepixel1165 Yes, it's a minor scale
how is it that i can always time the first "television rules the nation" perfectly when the beat gives no indication whatsoever?
Because 4 bar phrases are the most common, and your mind has become used to that.
cos u smart af
There is actually 18 beats before the first "television rules the nation", which is 4 bars + 2 beats. So there is still some Daft Punk's magic mah boy.
In the beginning it repeats the beat twice and you know the third one will be the first Chorus
Because you are breathtaking!
My all time favourite DP album! And it’s crazy how well their older songs fit within these songs, sonically and lyrically, making me wonder if they made them intentionally for those mashups.
i mean they are sampling kings, so wouldn't suprise me if they make tons of songs that arent released, then just mash them up into some ones which they do
@@Ezox2408originally instant crush's verse Melody and chorus Melody were meant to be two different songs, but then Julian casablancas suggested that they merged them into one song.

Honestly, Daft Punk have only said a few words in their songs, but the words have so much meaning, such as Television Rules The Nation. But I mean who watches TV anymore? It's mostly just KRplus and Netflix now.

Some of their songs have very little lyrics, yet they have so much meaning. My favorite has to be Human After All, it affects me on a personal level
Daft Punk are masters with their utilizing of harmonics and distortion. They're like the Jimi Hendrix of electronica.
After hearing this track about 100 times years ago I quit watching television. Thank you you Daft Punk!

Misheard Lyrics - Television, hallucination!
Thank you Daft Punk for making my childhood wonderful!
This song (and on/off) sorta come to mind when I see someone talking about mass/social media and its effects on younger people, except the television part, of course. I feel like someone could snatch the melody and theme of this song and turn it into something more relevant to today, more social media related.
I dunno, maybe I’m just crazy.
I love how the clicking off of the TV from On/Off syncs with the first few clicks of this song. It's like the intermission was made to enhance this song, similar to how WDPK 83.7 prepares us for Revolution 909. They're both about television when you think about it. Symbolism, maybe? O.o
two points to consider
-television rules
-the nation
Daft punk really didnt care for how prominent the kick and bass was... It's amazing.
