I have this world that spawned a really tall mushroom. I was like “cool that’s a tall mushroom” and went on with my life.
Several months later, I watch this video and realize I could beat the world record for tallest naturally spawning mushroom. I go back to my old world, flying around trying to find it. Once I find it, I count it, thinking about all the Minecraft clout I’m going to get.
It was fucking 11 blocks tall.

6:07 I remember seeing something similar: Plains with a dent that contained a tiny tiny birch forest. I remember topping it up with glass and living there, trying to replant every tree I harvest and not kill too many animals so I can breed them back. Good times

Minecraft terrain generation will never cease to blow my mind, it's so random and glitchy

The one seed with the 3 destroyed End portals isn't unbeatable, it's just harder to beat. There are a lot more than 3 strongholds, they're just further away from spawn

The truth is, the pig spawner is basically the most basic spawner there is, since the beginning i think.

The one block end portal is like that because the end portal generated with the chunks splitting the portal and the eyes spawned in the only area in that chunk causing the portal to activate inside the chunk border.

Once I found a seed with a desert/ plains hybrid village right next to spawn & the ocean. It also had a skeleton s̶p̶e̶a̶k̶e̶r̶ *spawner* nearby that was partially exposed!

I remember the old “amplified” world generation. you could get some crazy floating islands. That created crazy caves.
obviously this was them testing the caves and cliffs generations of large mountain like structures. And wide open caves.
huge chasms and mountains are my favourite type of terrain generation.
I currently have a home on a mesa biome mountain that extends 50 levels above the cloud layer.
It has a cart rail going down north and south and west leading to desert village,
Jungle biome on the other side.
and a track leading down into a huge cave that generated naturally beneath the mesa mountain. being so huge i also drilled right through it under my house to the cave below.
its a long ladder. Like 250 blocks Climbing up is a pain. But going down is easy with a block of water at the bottom. so dive down from my house into the cave below. And use the carts like a train back up.
Its utterly perfect. the view from my house is awesome.

The seed with the “smallest stronghold” is actually NOT the smallest. In 1.8, CaptainSparklez, Syndicate, OMGItsFireFoxx, and Jericho actually found a stronghold with ONLY THE PORTAL ROOM. This was in the ocean as well. You can find this in the Trinity Island Hardcore series.

It was wild to see that part of 11 seeds with two jungle mansions built identically close to each other because I’ve definitely by complete chance had a world on one of them

Multiple dungeons always fascinated me. The Minecraft worldgen blows my mind.
The first multiplayer world my buddy generated for his friends and I had a triple spider spawner dungeon exposed to the surface in the side of a cliff which we built a base on top of to farm and make tonnes of bows lol. That was in Beta 1.6
Good times.

The hour that 1.17 released, I found an amethyst geode combined with a shipwreck! The world was deleted tho, sad.
I think it's because 1.17 was new at the time and the structure spawns were glitched, because the amethyst wasnt even in the ground, it was just chillin in the water

I remember once I spawned next to a village with a blacksmith. The thing is, there was a zombie spawned in the blacksmith, meaning I spawned right next to a village, with a blacksmith, that has an above ground dungeon inside the blacksmith. Sadly I do not remember the seed, but I do believe it was in 1.14 (Idk what version of 1.14)

In a world I had, before it got corrupted somehow, when I went to the stronghold there was a hole in one of the walls that led to a mineshaft, which then led to a ravine, which had a full sized geode just chillin on the side of a wall. Wonder what the odds of that are?

I once found a igloo with a basement, which isn't rare at first, but a mineshaft penatrated it so when you go down in the basement there is just a mineshart right there.

a little bit ago I had a seed that I played on and explored a lot and while its deleted now (p n p) I still have a lot of the weird cords written down. the seed itself is in a past update so it'd be difficult to get back (I'm on bedrock and idk how to go back updates), I've always had really weird world generation on every world I'm on and this one was no exception because right next to the spawn there's a ravine with FOUR exposed fossil structures which has a 1/64 chance of happing for a single one
if anyone wants, I could put down some of the other cool cords I have written down for the world since if I remember correctly there were quite a few weird things there

I encountered a one-room stronghold in my world seed as well. Didn't know it was that rare. Probably for the best though, they're not very useful.

I like how you jokingly put some not that rare things in the video and make them look like they are actually rare. And your humor goes well with it. Because of that I am a little unsure about the 1 in a trillion chance for a double nether fortress - I came across one in a speedrun attempt and I doubt I am that lucky. :D Actually, I feel like I found it more than once and I only played on several dozens of worlds.

Oh wow. The deep giant caves are awesome. I have gotten LOADS of floating islands and big caves that are not as close to yours though.

I used to find so many desert temples in the ocean and/or against the world border. I never knew that finding them was considered "rare".

The weird thing is, there's a seed with almost all of these things. We just haven't found it yet.

I don’t think mine was as small as the one shown in the video but the coral reef was generated at the end of a river, so there wasn’t a lot of space

once i ever decided to speedrun the game with my friends, then found an exposed stronghold on land with 2 exposed libraries, the entrance staircase, even the portal room

My favorite survival world has a funny generation quirk too. There was a small sideways shipwreck in an iceberg. I called it "The Titanic's Deadbeat Cousin."

I have a seed for Minecraft bedrock: Egg I made my house on a beach and I built a nether portal, then I found a bastion, explored it, and it was connected to four other bastions

This might be impossible to believe. But when i was playing with my friends on our survival server. Near our base i found in a cave, MULTIPLE diamond clusters in one. It had a total of 34 DIAMONDS IN ONE SPOT. And with fortune i got over a STACK OF DIAMONDS. This is 100% true experience.

ive found shipwrecks with two wood types. pretty sure it's intentional and happens when one generates on the edge of 2 different biomes

I once saw TWO desert temples BOTH in the ocean WITHIN about a hundred blocks… one of them was FLOATING on like 10 blocks of sand in the middle of a deep ocean

the shipwrecks on land are actually really cool world building to me, it makes it seem like long before the events on the player showing up that there were oceans in those locations and through whatever means the ships crashed and the oceans drained or froze in that time trapping or exposing the long forgotten wrecks

I remember spawning on a pretty normal and cool seed but when I went to a pretty deep cave I found 10 emeralds near and when I dug deeper I found a reaaalllyy big cave and found about 10 diamonds around that one place (I was on creative)
