WOOOW!!! There was NO WAY they shouldn’t have been the champion... I just saw Melissa Rycroft’s dance last night and it was totally UNDESERVING of even being in the FINALE!!!🤦🏻♀️ It was NOT even average... It was kind of painful to watch... Shawn’s footwork, posture, stage presence, technique, EVERYTHING was phenomenal!!! I can’t believe they robbed her (and Derek) of the All-Star trophy and gave it to a sub-par pair...☹️
That trophy was stunning. That's ok though as Derek went on to WIN the Emmy that year for two of the dances with Shawn and a Macy's Stars of Dance routine he created. Shawn DEFINITELY deserved that trophy!!

It was so sweet to see Derek crying because he'll miss Shawn that much. That's the transition from just partners to family.
