For anyone that’s curious the story he’s talking about is called The Green Ribbon. And it messed us all up as kids
Right? It was so spooky. But looking back at it now as an adult, I think, why did she keep her husband in the dark about this serious medical condition? Hahaha. Certainly there were so many times when she had to deal with complications, and he would have totally helped her through it! The real horror is the lack of communication in a relationship for sure.
