Major religion in Japan is Buddhism, Japanese Buddhism is one of the strongest Buddhism in Asia. Shintoism is now a part of Buddhism too and there are many similarities between gods from Shintoism with Buddhism and Hinduism. South Korea is dependent, most of richest and most powerful people are Buddhists while most of other Korean people are either no religion (don't want to follow any religion despite they're religious or they want to leave away from religions, other rest are Atheists) and Christians. And most of Christians in South Korea are Protestants.

@@fox_5839 No, it's not true. Buddhism in Japan is number 1 and Shintoism is considered to be a part of Japanese Buddhism now. You can refer some surveys but don't believe them too much because all of those surveys made by organizations with their subjective biases. If you ask any Japanese, most of them would say they're Buddhism. Shintoism is more like a Japanese shamanism and folk but now be a part of Buddhism since their similarities in many ideas.
