Calling Makima's spoiler to be "Surprising" is an understatement of biblical proportions. Like, she is Terrifying. T-E-R-R-I-F-Y-I-N-G. Practically and Conceptually, she's scary enough that I'd rather move a continent away. I wpuld legit rather fight a Badger Devil with a sock of rocks and a plastic fork.

I get it she's probably unkillable, but her attacks won't be really effective if she deems her oppoment superior in strenght(a big flashy attack like hollow purple seems menacing enough for me). Honestly, with RCT and limitless gojo too is tanky. I agree with @enemycrumbles because that seems like a fight that might last on the long run, and the win conditions are situational for both sides.

Makima wins and here's some bullet points why.
(Spoilers for both JJK and CSM)
Why Gojo can't kill her:
- She reacted to and countered gun devil bullets which is waaayyyy faster than Gojo can move. Plus she can see the future and teleport
- She is able to transfer mental attack to her subjects (like santa) and she has Cosmos fiend who contains all the info there is or will be in the infinitely expanding universe, effectively making Makima immune to Infinite void.
- Even if it did work on her, using gojo's feat of kill 299 curses in shibuya, which left him visibly very exhausted, it would take him 446 days of keeping up that exact pace. Not only would infinity run out but Gojo can't do it for that long. Infinite cursed energy ≠ infinite stamina as shown in Shibuya.
- Latest chapters have shown that Purple doesn't wipe stuff out of existence because Sukuna and Gojo tanked it
- Gojo doesn't speedblitz in combat speed. Jjk verse is Subsonic+ most likely hypersonic. This can be determined by Naoya's curse who speedblitzed awakened Maki with a speed of Mach 3. Makima can keep up with hybrid pochita, who beat Hybrid Quanxi, who is way faster than normal Quanxi who went Hypersonic speeds in the 49 person massacre
How Makima can kill Gojo:
- Vector less attacks have been shown to kill Gojo. Some vector less attacks that makima have include: Bang, halloween, mold devil, sacrifice, her finger snaps (used on darkness), and potentially Angel weapons since they can cut things that aren't even there like the ghost devil
- She is able to seriously damage beings like Darkness who is on the same tier or potentially stronger than Pochita. Who defeated the living incarnation of nuclear weaponry
- Her 1000y spear is fast enough to force Pochita to tank it. Pochita blitzed Makima, and Makima could react to gun bullets.
- She is able to increase the power of all her attacks by sacrificing humans in her contract, which she has like 126+ million of.
- I seriously hope this doesn't happen because it would be lame, but she should consider Gojo less superior than her. Since he is just a human, and she wouldn't have any reasons to think otherwise. And before you bring up Kishibe, she doesn't consider him a threat or useful, so she has no reason to control, though she could.
- Honorable mention to all the other contracts she has in her control to distract and attack Gojo. Especially Curse which could potentially hurt Gojo, since it suddenly appears on you, so it might be vector-less but there's not enough info on that

As someone who likes both for different reasons, I honestly can't tell who would win lol Gojo's recent lost against Sukuna made me want to root for him but it seemed impossible because Makima would mop the floor with Sukuna, making her a more unstoppable threat for him

What a great preview of Makima's analysis, right out of the gate with funny dark humor, playing into the HEAVY spoilers joke for Makima, along with the obvious that everyone simps for her. This is shaping up to be an incredible episode from each preview. This episode is a major win for me no matter what the outcome is, this was one of my top most wanted matches. As mentioned, if Makima somehow wins, it's a cool Chainsaw Man dub, but if Gojo wins (rooting for him and is the clear favorite to win) it's an even bigger dub as I hate Makima. And let me say, I don't hate her as a character, I hate her because of what she is and does, along that she succeeds at her role in the story so well. That "Bang" panel nearly made me rage quit the manga/series if I wasn't so close to the end lmao. So more of a love-hate relationship, but yeah, really excited for the fight, hoping for a creative and brutal killing blow from either of these two
I feel like that’s a pretty common feeling. She’s one of the best villains in any shonen I’ve ever read, but she’s so evil that you just want to see her suffer. Personally I hope she wins just because she really should. Being a ancient being with unparalleled surveillance and control abilities. If she’s stupid enough to face Gojo personally she would lose, but she’s too smart to do that

The next death battle is going to be fun when you get to establish who is supposed to be the protagonist and who is the antagonist. Two people who might not see that dangerous on initial introductions, but then you quickly find out just how monstrous they can be.

I know her pretty well, and know Gojo barely, but he seems to be on a whole different level.
He is untouchable forever, she is untouchable for as long as she can transfer her death to someone else in Japan.
The thing is, she has ways of getting past gojo’s infinity if she can mind control him
Makima is pretty busted, but her Domination only being she thinks is weaker than her, and Gojo's (justified) ego would probably prevent that from working. While her contract with the Japanese government might allow her to transfer the effects of Unlimited Void to others, and we've seen that happen in JJK now, Gojo could probably fry the brains of everyone in Japan if that was what it took to beat Makima.

If Makima has a contract with the Curse Devil (which she should have through Aki, since that was never strictly broken), she should have another attack that can pierce through Infinity since it reaches through the manga panel to attack. Even if that isn’t the case, she at least has attacks that originate on the enemy (like the brain hemorrhage and Mold Devil). Whether or not they’d do lasting damage against Gojo’s RCT is a whole other debate.
It would gojo literally stated even with rct if Toji cut his head off or have stab him with his weapon on his head he would be dead
@@gameuniverse5973The two problems with that are that Gojo can use RCT to continually repair his brain (to a point) and that his Simple Domain lets him basically ignore other people’s abilities. Those are big sticking points for deciding who wins, since Makima will have to also overpower that defense in addition to Infinity.
@lucasm.3864 Simple Domain ignores cursed techniques, not the forms of attacks in CSM, also it is usually only used or usable in a domain, which Makima probably won't have here. Also, Cursed energy does come from the Gut, and RCT comes from the Brain, so just destroy one of those, and Gojo is kinda screwed( until the manga disproves this, if it ever does.

But sukunas malevolent shrine targeted all of gojo including his head but his rct was so good he didnt die, nd i can confidently say makima doesnt have an attack as strong as malevolent shrine so shes def not winning that way
@@glogangglory Well, MS kinda got defended by Domain Amplification and never actually cut Gojo in any dangerous way, he just outhealed it, it never hurt his head or gut. Makima could just use the attack she used on the Gun Devil that killed it, or her thing where she looks at you and you die, or that thing where she shoots out that thing with her finger like a gun. Also, the contracts(if DB lets them be used) would be good, Doll and spider devil for distractions and potentially trapping, angel for weapons that can pierce Infinity, etc.
Another most wanted opponent for Makima is Tooru from JoJo part 8: Jojolion. His Stand Wonder of U can inflict Calamity upon anyone who pursues him. For example, your leg bumps into a table, it gets cut off or a piece of a plane could fall on you. Both have ALOT of connections and Brandon Yates did a commission track (I put in the replies). What you guys think of this matchup? Sorry you didn’t get.

-Both are the leaders of factions (the Devil Hunters/The Locacaca Organization), which its members use spirits as their main attacks (Devils/Stands).
-Both appear human but belong to a different race (devils/rock humans).
-Both don't have surnames.
-Both have high ranking positions in an organization focused on public safety (head of the Public Devil Hunter Bureau/Head doctor of the TG University Hospital).
-Both are antagonists to a protagonist who is a fusion of two beings (Denji and Puchita/Josefumi and Kira).
-Both pretend to be extremely caring towards the main characters (Makima taking in Denji/Tooru having dated Yasuho) until they reveal that they are cold and manipulative
-Both exhibit control over nature (Makima controls life/Tooru controls the flow of calamity).
-Both want to attain the thing that allowed the protagonists to fuse (the heart of Puchita/the new lokakaka).
-Both reveal that they have stockpiles of an item that was coveted early in the story (pieces of the gun devil/the lokakaka)
-Both always have a calm demeanor thanks to their powerful abilities. These demeaners are shattered when they are finally killed.
-Both appeared throughout the lives of the main protagonists (Makima was fighting the chainsaw devil before it transformed into pochita and was taken in by Denji/Tooru appeared several times throughout Yasuho's life and was responsible for killing Rai's parents).
-Both were defeated after the main characters exploited a weakness in their defense (Makima was defeated after Denji killed her not out of hatred but out of love/Tooru was hit by a Soft & Wet bubble, which does not exist in the laws of nature), and would have to be put down for good by an attack relating to existence erasure (Denji eating Makima, with Denji being the hybrid of the Chainsaw Devil who erases what he eats/Gappy using Soft and Wet: Go Beyond to erase the Wonder of U)
I think.
It'd be a neat MU if Makima returns in a few years, post-anime.

I'm not sure who would win this. Gojo may be untouchable but I don't know if he can block Makima's attacks and Makima is apparently quite durable if she can shrug off a shot to the head.

Gojo's durability level is also very good considering he was able to tank a 20Finger Malavolent Shrine from Sukuna, AND outdo him in his own domain.

I love how the CSM summary in this video comes across as a very simple, even cliched shonen conceit (antagonist creatures, hunter team working to stop them), and yet in actuality it is throbbing insanity that is anything but the usual. I have no idea who is going to win, they are pretty equal footing. Gojo has crazy strong powers and incredibly durability, but Makima has great hacks and alot of resources to help her fight. It all depends on what contracts/devils/hybrids she will have access to.

The only things that is keeping Gojo down is his stamina. He was pretty tired when he killed 1000 of those mutated human things and that's nothing compared to Makima's 120 million revives
He has effectively infinite stamina and he can just keep her in domain for a few hours if not lol

@@GlaZim Yes. Decapitating her also won't kill her. She doesn't die until everyone else does. It required power's special blood to slow it down and even then she just reincarnates.
