The funny thing is that this should be intuitive.....Medicare 4 all would significantly reduce administrative costs (one plan vs thousands), significantly reduce marketing spend (marketing the existence of Medicare for all vs private insurances competing with peers), and eliminating profit.....why wouldn’t it be more affordable? Only reason it would be similar or greater cost if it were solely in virtue of covering everyone fully.

He also marched with MLK, who SUPPORTED reparations for ADOS, at a time when a majority of the country was AGAINST the Civil Rights movement. Bernie and his supporters brag about Bernie marching with MLK, but are silent on the fact that he was coming to Washington to press the U.S. government to pay it's debt. Now people CAN change their position. The thing about Bernie is that he has been consistent for 50 plus years, so when he says he is against it (supporting bills to study it is NOT the same as supporting reparations like he has done for Holocaust survivors AND THEIR HEIRS), I would bet he means it and will not changed. No bill was needed for THAT. They just DID that shit. Obama was THE LAST politician I and many ADOS will ever vote for who does not support and fight for reparations. I hope that a large enough number of ADOS S Carolinians do the same and send a message to ALL politicians and the nation as a whole. We have watched slave owners, Native Americans, Japanese Americans, and most recently Holocaust survivors receive reparations while being told that ADOS don't deserve it, a bill needs to study it, what about the rest of America, my family didn't own slaves, who gets it, etc, etc, etc. We have heard all the bs and we are tired of waiting. No more.
