Sal’s Kris and Charlie’s is one of the best spots in queens. Me and my co-workers go their once a month for lunch. The Bomb sandwich takes me two days to finish. They are also one of the very few places that still carry Boars Head jerk turkey 🔥🤤
You guys need to come to Louisiana and try Bear’s Po-Boys. They’re BBQ and Roast Beef sandwiches are to die for. By the time you’re almost done you’re almost drinking the sandwich, which sounds disgusting but I promise they’re the BEST sandwiches you’ll ever try

My folks were from Philly and they taught me that the real king of Philly sammies is the Roast Pork and Broccoli rabe jawns you get at Italian groceries. Freakin' perfection. Highly recommend.

As a New Yorker...what you guys need to realize is that 1,000 restaurants open and close EVERY YEAR in NYC. Places like these need nuance and eyes drawn to them in order to stay in business. It also means if places like this intrigue you...go before they're gone. Everyone in NYC has had that moment where they go "maybe I'll go to XYZ next week" and a few months later when they DO go it's closed. A sad fact...but the City is just built like that. A few places stick around, and the rest it's your obligation to keep around with your business and your hype on social media.
