Sarawak is the largest state in Malaysia. we have multicultural ethnic...and have a lot of delicious food. We still have jungles where you can go hiking,and much more advantures.
Don't forget to eat our special dishes like mee kolok,laksa Sarawak, kek lapis Sarawak, ayam pansuh,umai and many more.

what i can recommend you to visit, of course :
1)muzium Sarawak ( the largest muzium in south east Asia.
2) waterfront (i recommend you to go after Asar or 5p.m. you can ride river cruise and it's more lively at night. the scenes are beautiful with water fountain, darul hana bridge and colorful lamps.)
3) Sentubong- they have beach and Kampung Budaya.
4)Bau- (gua angin,Serikin,tasik biru)
Bau is a small town but has beautiful scenery and before,it was place for people digging gold.
There are many more places i want to write.maybe later.i'll continue.

I'll recommend you to try :
1)mee kolok at Sapiah cafe near waterfront
2)IG ice cream gula Apong.
3)kek lapis.you can found it at waterfront,or kampung melayu opposite waterfront. you can reach there with "perahu".
4)Laksa Sarawak. everywhere in Kuching you can find this.but the best you can go to Mom laksaor king laksa.
5)Ayam Pansuh (one of ibanese popular dish.you can find the halal one if you go to any food that serve traditional dish)
6) Topspot - popular with seafood.
if you like adventures, like hiking,you can go to Bako,Santubong, Bau,Matang and Padawan. Mount Santubong is the most popular one and one of the hardest mountain to climb in Sarawak. And also Bengoh Dam, the Jurassic park of Sarawak. it's scenary just like in fairytale.
Hope it's help you to discover more about Sarawak. especially in Kuching.
It reminds me of before Covid-19, I went to Kuching..it was memorable to visit there..eating mee kolok, teh c peng, kek lapis sarawak, and lots of food..when to the zoo, muzium kucing, and lots of places..make me want to travel there 😄

Gah! Seungho-sshi is in my hometown! I'm smiling from ear to ear as I watch his discovery video in Kuching.
Yet one thing I want to add and to clarify is where Kuching's origin name comes from. Timestamp 3.10 where Seungho-sshi explains that Kuching in Malay means Cat, in which he is right but he didn't explain more thus I bet the viewers will think that Kuching got its name from that. However, from my knowledge, or from what I've learned. The name Kuching might have derived from Sungai (River) Kuching which was a small stream that flowed from the direction of Kuching Reservoir, east of Wayang Street and emerged between the now Tua Pek Kong Temple and the old Chinese Chamber of Commerce along Thompson Road (now known as Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman) to join Sungai Sarawak. However, the river had since disappeared from the map of Kuching due to the construction of Temple street and the rapid town expansion. As a proud Sarawakian, I would say that we have lived harmoniously for decades along with its unique food culture, its beautiful colonial buildings and its vast natural attractions.

When I saw this, I thought it was in Korea at first. I just realized that this is in Kuching. When I was there in 2022 as well, Kuching had a Chinese, Japanese and Korean vibe given to me in the same moment. I felt "wow, this is a city that really provides beauty and natural treats". As a Singaporean, I really like Kuching. I really hope that I will come back to this city again, and I am very grateful that Singapore has a direct flight route to Kuching. CUTE!!!! fun fact: we (Malaysians) have a joke that you can never find rats or mice in Kuching because it is a place with 'kucing' (which means cats), so rats are afraid of Kuching 😹😹😹 Judging from 승호오빠's expression when he tried the banana fritters, the taste was mediocre at best. I highly recommend people to try banana fritters in KL. There's a few famous stalls. The banana is really sweet and it can get addictive 🤤🤤 I prefer my banana fritters with no cheese or condensed milk. It's really good without any extra sauces or condiments!!!! Glad he enjoyed the Sarawak kolo mee tho 😋😋 I hope he had a chance to try Sarawak laksa too~ It's really delicious!!! 승호오빠, please come visit KL someday! We have a lot of good food and nice places to visit here too!!!!
