I wouldn't even soully say it's just because they care about each other, they all experience similar and most would know first-hand how it feels.
At least from friends they know they're joking, I think it's worse for them when it's the chats, because they don't let stuff go and will continue to bring it up. :(
I don't know... I'm always the designated driver, and I've never looked this annoyed at a party where my drunk friends were enjoying themselves. I've also never been pissed when the birthday boy is getting more attention than me on his own birthday either, sooo... *shrug* Just personally didn't think this stream painted Toast in the best light... Uncomfortable to watch someone so seemingly insecure and bothered by his friends getting attention. Doesn't help that I watched the video about his weight loss before this one, where he talks at length about how he changed himself because he wasn't getting as much attention as he thought he should be, when he basically felt more deserving of it than the people he's salty about in this video. Since we don't even know what Corpse looks like, it's clearly not about looks, and if this is how he acts when other people get attntion, it's very obviously about his personality, or public persona. Jealousy doesn't look good on anyone. I honestly cringed several times while watching this. Unfortunate.

I think it makes sense that on Corpse's birthday people would be writing prompts about corpse. As for Sykkuno, the slightest hint of green is interpreted as him.

@@kdot3726 The problem was more that it gets repetitive when everyone prompts "the same" thing. Obviously, it's natural that the prompts would be about the birthday boy, but still... boring.
as a sykkuno fan, I agree it's so boring for people to keep making prompts about sykkuno and corpse. But I can understand if in this video people writing prompts about corpse because it was his birthday. If it's my friend's birthday I'd write prompt about them too honestly

I think they're really close friends and close friends can joke about that. They'd know if it's too much or not but it's definitely not for fans. It's way more uncomfortable when fans do that. It's not normal to ship real people. At least i didn't see anyone force it on them yet.

Let's say that Sykkuno is pretty easy to draw and is liked by everyone in the group, and Corpses birthday put him in the center of the attention. It's fine at first, but when drawings about them pretty much dominated the game, it became increasingly uncomfortable for the two. It's all fun and games until people get uncomfortable, and unfortunately both Sykkuno and Corpse are too nice to say anything about it.

this video really goes to show that this game ends up sticking to the initial prompt a lot more when everyone playing understands all of the inside jokes of the friend group. There are clearly two groups of friends here that haven't had enough time to blend together yet and it makes this game feel so much more disconnected XD

I think it’s completely understandable that toast felt that way. As a huge sykkuno fan, I also felt like it’s too much. Every single lobby that sykkuno is in, the prompts all end up about him somehow. It would’ve been nice to see some more original and creative prompts.
When they write these prompts, it feels like they’re not playing a game for themselves but are pandering to the audience imo
Toast talked about it at last. It was boring to see that happen every time. I too started skipping many corpse and sykkunos prompt. He knows what is fun for his viewers and what's not.

I’m just commenting because I felt a similar sentiment to toast. I watched his vod and he explained his thoughts even further after the lobby ended (which isn’t included in this video). I know it’s nothing serious but he brings a valid point to the table.
