So no second born has ever thought of trying to get the throne for themselves having powers and all?? Having powers is cool but I find it hard to believe that not one second born child would complain about doing all the heavy lifting protecting their kingdom but not getting some kind of credit. Or is the bad guy of this movie literally going to be a second born trying to take over the throne?
Another inconvenient truth especially since what happens if your sibling passes away and you succeed them. You lose your powers?
That will probably be a storyline they explore
I think the enemy of the series is precisely that... but honestly, people are too obsess with aristocracy and privilege, as specially for a country that style themselves as revolutionaries.
Why would you think that no second-born has tried or done that? The trailer didn't say anything about it and it could have happened in the past.
If I had the option of having powers or ruling a kingdom, I would choose my powers over it any day? Not a hard decision to make.

See this is what they’re doing they’re giving kids princesses and fairytales when they’re little so they’ll throw their money at Disney, then they’re giving the Royal Superheroes, priming them to like Marvel, etc. so they’ll KEEP throwing money at them when they’re older.
And honestly I have no problems with this, I would have loved this when I was little.
