TW // Eating disorders - In regards to Ashley losing her period, thatβs actually very common amongst people who starve themselves, especially anorexics. It is essentially your body saying βyou are so malnourished, your body cannot possibly sustain a pregnancyβ. The body is using up what little energy youβre giving it just to keep you functioning on a daily basis, so it stops performing βunnecessaryβ tasks like menstruating. Combined with her bad sleep schedule, overwork and stress, itβs unfortunately not surprising that it happened. I might not have explained it well, so feel free to correct me if I misspoke.
I'm 10 minutes in and I've related with Ashley on everything so far.
when Ashley said I didn't have a period for A YEAR I straight up died. I start panicking when my period is a day late.

As a med student, please do not use any vit/mineral supplements unless your doctor prescript. Excessive vitamin intake can be dangerous, as well as inadequate vitamin intake. Please be aware of your health. Stay healthy and safe!
When Ashely mentioned extreme diets and BM pointed at her almost in disappointment and Peniel was just like "I've seen you do that π " they're so protective of each other. Their friendship is amazing

Colonoscopy is very important especially for males because a lot of men avoid it. Colon cancer could go undetected for years and by the time you finally get it checked it might be too late.
