Excited for Arias but I’m running the lair of darkness variant because for some reason I kept running into Charles. Ariane into Lori, lady of lament tribute 2 monsters, get my Lilith back to tribute again 😅

konami making banlist is like "look at the deck that need balancing and ban the card that doesnt belong in that deck".

One thing they can do with Kashtira is if you special summon any of them you are locked into xyz summoning for the rest of the turn from the extra.

I'm predicting that Nadir Servant will see more usage in Sword soul x Albaz lore decks. Also, Dark Magician and Red eyes might get some assistance in the form of the Sinful spoils engine. There is potential that we will see Centur-ion be added to Master Duel some time in either late May to early July. Additionally, you can expect a marginal number of duelist to up their decks for 40 main deck cards (due to decking out or other) to potential 50.

Dogmatika player here. Especially upset because it's the only way I even enjoyed this game anymore. Now when Lab drops Nadir for Butler and Unchained anyway, we'll just be sitting here with an even more weakened deck for no reason at all.

Yes unicorn. When I play against snake eyes. 99.99% they always open with unicorn. And by the time you get rid of him. He already took out 2 monster of the extra deck

dude just ban transaction rollback..... or limit to 1. Lab has gotten soooo many cards banned or limited including all the pot cards. seriously just hit lab cards konami youre killing other decks to protect 1 damn deck

My proposal in every survey is to have Events testing erratas, and they could start with Maxx C. Same could be for cards like Elf, Kitkallos and any overpowered or splashable card, so that certain cards could still be legal and more balanced. Even a balance with a single errata would be stronger than this banlist.

I am a bit sad about unicorn, but at least 2 birth is nice to have. I have been experimenting with Sacred beast Kashtira since opening of the spirit gates can bring it back from the gy and I am waiting for the lvl 7 beast to come out to capitalize on birth. Having two copies will still be nice if one birth gets banished + it thins the deck which is always nice.

I play snake eyes and even im shocked we didnt get a hit

I swaer almost every MD ban list has some weird shotgun hit that for no reason hits as much deck as possible and in the most cases decks that are already stuggleing against the meta. That not how you hit meta decks, it makes already weak decks weaker and nothing changes with the power structure.

To be honest, I don't know why SHS barely got hit. Soulpiercer is the reason the deck pops off in combos, and the GY effect is NOT EVEN a hard once per turn. Semi-limiting it won't do anything LOL🤣🤣

only thing this list says to me is they don't want to directly hit lab or SE since those decks still have cards to release. an while I'm sad to see unicorn get hit I'm also happy birth got raised back to 2, cant wait for that SHS nerf tho that deck takes forever to set up

Konami if you are gonna hit Lab then HIT LAB why are you hitting Smile Sorcerer and the Nadir engine when that’s used by a minority of Lab players *and is used by a lot of other decks*

Its not really just snake eye almost everyone and their mother is using unicorn in their decks its toxic and polarising if they're going first and you interact with them with a hand trap monster effect now you're getting 2 cards ripped from you're extra deck before you actually get to play it gives too much advantage aswell as knowledge and your most important cards are getting ripped kash was a stupidly designed archetype but what can you expect from an archetype that was literally built for toxicity like locking your opponent out the game by nuking the players zones this is a light hit tbh because they obviously want to try keep the actual archetype alive at the same time this does nothing so it may aswell be nothing

You know, I play a pure Superheavy Samurai deck, and I've been okay with the hits that it got. I actually think they've been pretty generous about it. In any case, the spare room in my deck, thanks to the semi-limits of two of its deck searchers, gave me reason to play two other cards that I left out purely for the reason of having no room.

I am fully convinced that konami is trolling at this point. How do we balance the game? Meta decks too strong you say? Here are some rogue hits instead

The Nadirs hit has to be for stun. That's where i see it the most. It's literally pot of greed but ya know they usually end up going + 3.

Unicorn helped non fire decks deal with with snake eyes and it helped pendulum decks.

Retrain or errata add restrictions to broken combos so they can keep them?

I always been saying unicorn should be hit its able to snipe extra deck monsters and can get 2 if I goes first and gives you a peek at what your opponent plays. Funny enough I was already running 2 since I couldn't craft an extra one it's still solid should of been limited.

They could have done more with Snake eyes and lab in the meta. yes I'm a lab player, but I was expecting transcended rollback or big welcome.

Erratas can be confusing but nothing stops konami from banning a card like fenrir then print fenrir 2 which is the exact same card with different artwork and increased restrictions

I think they don't want to nerf decks like LAB,branded, SHS, Kashtira too much just to keep the meta with more decks that only snake eyes, hope next month we have a real ban list.
