If you hear yanny, that means you can hear higher frequencies. people who hear laurel hear lower frequencies. if you hear laurel you don't have as sensitive hearing as people who hear yanny. the actual word being said is laurel, but its played at a low frequency. they then ad higher frequencies over the recording of lower frequencies and that makes the word yanny. hope I cleared it up a bit xx
