The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
Dragons return to Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr, part of the Season of the Dragon year-long adventure! Explore sun-blessed savannahs and canyons, defend the Khajiiti homeland, and command the merciless undead with the Necromancer class in this all-new Chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online saga!
As with other games in The Elder Scrolls series, the game is set on the continent of Tamriel. Not all places in Tamriel are playable. The events of the game occur a millennium before those of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and around 800 years before The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It has a broadly similar structure to Skyrim, with two separate conflicts progressing at the same time, one with the fate of the world in the balance, and one where the prize is supreme power on Tamriel.
In The Elder Scrolls Online, the first struggle is against the Daedric Prince Molag Bal, who is attempting to meld the plane of Mundus with his realm of Coldharbour, and the second is to capture the vacant imperial throne, contested by three alliances of the mortal races. The player character has been sacrificed to Molag Bal, and Molag Bal has stolen their soul, the recovery of which is the primary game objective.

The scene with the lizard people and the dragon and the skeleton fighting the dragon was awesome. I loved it. It reminded me of my daughter's book she wrote back in high school. She had it published. It's called the Kyisis - The Lost City. She wrote it back in 2009. It takes place on another planet. The hero is a long dead ruler/warrior of their people. He is called Szar. The goddess he is a champion of is Pelethesis. A young Beastmaster calls Szar forth to save their people. It's a great book, even though she was 17 when she wrote it.😁

ESO is a really good example of the MMO genre. It's probably my second favorite after "World of WarCraft".
Getting ESO when Elsweyr was released was the best decision I made in 15 years of MMOing (started with Guild Wars ;) ).
That game runs so deep that I'll be busy for years.

I liked the graphics, the world, the npcs and the stories... didnt care much for combat, animations and how characters are built.

I haven't played ESO in a couple a years...I still own a badass home and some badass skins. This video makes me want to play it again. I've been playing Skyrim sense then wich as old as it is is still an awesome game.

I started playing The Elder Scrolls Skyrim 5 when I was 56 years old (2019). I use a PC and I do mod my game. You can play this game forever. Make your own character the way you want it. There is so much to discover. You really have to take your time and look at everything while you play. Don't rush quest and explore. I am looking forward to giving the Online Elder Scrolls a go. Thanks to Grandma Shirley on you tube and this video for getting me excited about trying them out. Just so you know I am serious about playing, I am in my way past 1000 hours of play and still discovering new things everyday. Don't just imagine playing, do it. You want be sorry for trying it.
If you like that game then you'll looooove the Online version. Just like it in every way but BIGGER! And the Elder Scrolls Online community is far better than any large MMO. There is sooooooooo so much to do in the online version that even playing it for hours a day would take at least a year to go through as much as you think you can and there's still more to do.
I highly suggest an ESO+ subscription if you play for a bit so you can unlock all DLCs and the Crafting Bag

If only Skyrim was as good as these video's, now that would be a game and a half no doubt. I suppose i can always hope for ES6 to be of something like these video's with cool cut scenes an great game play, but that could be asking for a lot i suppose.

I am fairly confident future ES series will have similarly great cinematics, this is the new standard I expect from them now and to be fair the ESO cinematics team are on point ! Especially as some of the older cinematics are a few years old now, they still hold up pretty well !

@@berrygirlfinn The first cinematic is the one where the three different commanders are trying to scale the tower defended by Imperials. The second one is where the Coldharbour gate opens and sends chains down. Next is the one showing Imperial City under seige, followed by the one where they're fighting to get at Mannimarco in the throne room.
After those four, I'm not sure exactly what order they were released in, but I know the Greymoor one is the latest.

During the entire story, hardly a word is spoken.
When playing Skyrim, every time I pass by someone they want to tell me their life story. "Oh I got an arrow in the knee; those awful mud crabs; blah blah blah. " You can't get them to shut the hell up.

They really should just take these 3 unnamed heros, put them on a secret mission, and make a movie out of it. It doesn't even have to be cannon, it just needs to have this level of graphics, a good story, and good actors and you have yourself a grand movie that will just be gobbled up in no time. I know people would enjoy it :)

during the summerset trailer if you pay attention you'll notice that the people standing in the shadows are the daedric princes, 1: calvicus vile. 2: hermaeus mora. 3: I think might be Nocternal, And I'm pretty sure she's wearing azura's star.
