I love the fact that even Dai Yoshihara is learning about how his car works.
Can we do an episode on engine fluids (oils, grease, and other fluids)
Don't forget blinker fluid
@@philtjensjasper and piston return springs
I know they’ve done one on coolant
True but it was lacking to me. Don't get me wrong I watched it like 10 times but there are more just as important fluids that people need /want to learn about.
Brandin Hunter such as blinker fluid
LMAO I died when you did that little hitchhiking skit
no you didnt
@@von... I don't know why people try to use this term like this all the time, sounds so dumb.
Here he was a drifter...
Rack and pinion steering has to be one of the first mechanical things I've learned from LEGO. That old No. 28 Formula 1 car from LEGO had that totally visible.
LEGO Technic for the win.
I've learned so much just trying to build things that worked with lego Technics
4:03 The hand on table explosion gets me every time! lol! It's the little things that these guys do, it really is.
In school they had this whole lecture and history about the Ackerman principle no one understood with all these formulas nobody even uses anymore, I didnt get it but eventually I did.
And then you have this guy on youtube explaining the basics of it in a couple seconds. don't go to school kids (actually go to school it is still important).
School has become about following instructions and completing tasks--even college--while also being unnecessarily expensive. It's now pretty much a complete scam, but parents don't believe it when their kids tell them. Thanks, Gen X.
@@mikebagwell8229 If I could,I'd just learn what I needed to learn and probably never come back.
Sean O'Neill Not quite true - school used to be much more about spouting memorized facts and obeying. Most of the world it still is. You want quality non-rote education, go to Scandinavia. Learn your history; signed, Generation X.
6:28 picture of Descartes and Georg Lankensperger, cool joke :D
10 points to Griffindor
If you Google Images search Georg Lankensperger that picture comes up, whoever researched the video must have not checked the source
I lost it when Descartes' pic came up.
I also noticed and was like WTF... hahaha
You guys should do an episode on speed wobbles, how they happen, how to prevent them, etc.
This video could be 30min long, I WOULD WATCH EVERY SINGLE SECOND OF IT!
My favourite Science Garage yet, you're super enthusiastic as always but not over the top. Hit that perfect medium.
That was probably the most interesting episode so far. I learned so much today, congrats guys 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The incorporated mechanic interview and cut in drift edits made this one great
This is a nitpick but Science Garage should be called Science Kitchen.... Because it takes place in a kitchen.
It’s a garage kitchen tho
Your kitchen isn't in your garage? Oh shit I need to call my contractor
So you don't keep you car parts on the sink?
We've been over this before. There are several possible explanations.
C4Cintron A Science Lab looks just like a kitchen...
Bart is literally my favorite person to watch on youtube, hes so fucking funny i cant handle it but yet i want more!! Id even watch if he did videos on groceries, or rain!
What ever happened to Science Garage :( I loved this series so much I watched the entire playlist like 3 times.
Bring back #ScienceGarage
I miss these episodes
Another really good video, I'd like to think I know a bit about cars but you not just teach me something new, you guys find the most interesting topics to teach, and do it in a really fun way for lack of a better word.
This was so well done. Great explanations!
Great content guys , Very informative and simple to understand ❤
Amazing explanation! Saved to watch again as refresher later.
Best chapter to date, really new stuff
I haven't gone to Uni all week so this is my learning for the week
Please do a video about Pro and Anti Ackerman and what they suit best :)
And what if you did a topic about suspension height and and it´s roll centers?
Yes i agree. I want the advance classes too! 🙋
The little edits Donut does in their videos are worth it's weight in gold.
Man, I love science garage!
I love this channel this channel should get more subs
im doing a project for my steering and suspension class and this video came in clutch
Love your videos man!
Science- Physics would have been so much fun at school if they taught this.
I learnt more from this 12:00 minute video than two months in my Street Rod Technology morning classes.
Thanks Bart this was helpful
You should also make a in depth video on steering system which should include some examples of how each and every part of the system works
I luv this channel, becausing like's telling story, story before a sleep😍
Great video! I LOVE DRIFTING!!! I have that BRZ in GT Sport! Thing is legit!
Love you Donut Media
Cool vid! Cool information
Mishimoto Gold Intercooler
I have been watching you for a long time now
That was an awesome video!
Love this
This was extremely informative. ^_^
There's no shouting, WHY ISN'T HE SHOUTING??
Alligator Sperm AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
TORQUE CONVERTERS
Alligator Sperm there is no horsepower in steering
VTEC!!
The best part of waking up 🔥🔥🔥
I enjoyed the drifter HOMONYM!
Great video
The video I have been looking for!!!!!!!!
I hope you guys can get a network tv contract. Like you are as good as top gear everything you do is awesome!!
Well played Bart. Subbed
For now.
Petition to bring Bart and Science Garage back
3 flat earthers disliked this video.
Now you got me watching and taking notes of your blinking. Coming to save you
Can you guys do a video on regenerative braking. That would be sick. Cheers
Really cool 😎
This content is epic!
The earth isn't flat?
Take the joke..
Roa Mobile chill out bro , grouping people in one like that
why does everything have to be about the americans?
@@Omar-em7rl because they are jeleous of our success
BART SHOUTING "Ofcourse not you dummy"
Good.....
That is just one of the important topics
Bart is so underrated on donutmedia
I never knew about this Akerman angle before!!!
6:27 That's René Descartes.
Yo Fact Bro
Can you guys do the bronco ii. That be dope of ya
Donut Media should have online courses for all this knowledge you are dropping on us.
the drift life!!
Can you do a episode on different way on modified steering ratio and rack and pin?
Thanks u so much :)
You guys should do a science garage on alignments. Think about all the fishing jokes you could do about caster.
The Ackerman steering angle really surprised me
Hell yeah
Yes
Love that lonely drifter clip :D
6:28 that's God damn Rene Descartes! 😂😂
6:27 is René Descartes in the background, not Georg Lankensperger. Is from my country !! FRANCE🇫🇷
Good catch, indeed it is Descartes. Who ever is writing this show knows what is going on. First we are told we are stupid if we believe the earth is flat. We are shown the Father of modern philosophy as a common wheelwright. And finally shown a painting of golden age 'mud flood' buildings.
Thought i was the only one seeing this
I love the fact that the vídeo is recorded on a Kitchen ❤️
Literally just learned about this at Maxwell today.
Need more info on camber control please. Thanks
Can you please do a video on Flex fuel and E85
Do a video on piston return springs
Kwinny Studios jfc 😂, you saw that chrisfix april fools video too?
@@sanjaynandalall2260 ye
I love the BRZ
4:05 wooooow dude
Thank, that cool.
I've pondered how Ackermann steering is done with stretch limos - both professionally made, and those things where someone chops a car in half and adds an extra center section - saw that with a Prius once, it turned out better than it sounds. Do they change the steering geometry to match the longer wheelbase, or just have the tires scrub a bit? Also, I've noticed that on my classic VW Super Beetle, with the steering against the lock the tires chirp a tiny bit, seems like it's not a perfect Ackermann arrangement. Once asked the pros at a shop about this, they said that this is normal (not an issue with my alignment) and often cars won't have a perfect Ackermann arrangement because it's a tradeoff with some other factors.
I like the effect when he stumps the table xD
I love ur vds
this guy could teach me rocket science
That's a buttload of info for an 11 minute video. Very very concise
Bart does not shout today. Something is wrong
Bart and the other guy: *Science stuff*
Dai: "BRZ goes screech"
Hey donut media, u guys r doing great by spreading knowledge about cars in a very creative way... But I have an idea... That if possible then also provide a kind of notes on the topic u cover in science garage so that who have habit to read can read it nd it will also clear some residuals doubts about topic..i know u guys wil rock in this also😁😉
i don't understand how people can't find drifting entertaining yet can watch cars make left turns for 4 hours
miss you Bart
Dammit the BRZ bait gets me every time
Cool video do a other rare car video like the tucker
I sure do like racks turned into a drinking game take a shot every time he says Rack in this episode
You need to do one on power steering
Do the Ackerman video pls
This is like if a summer camp counselor taught automotive engineering and it’s perfect
lost me when you said the earth wasn't flat
It isn't tho
@git Gud I’m regret to inform you that you’re not yet “woke”
git gud how do you know that it isn’t flat?
@@juliancardoso5172 Nope he isn't "woke". That state of mind is no place anyone or anything should be.
akid4ever uhm, we've been to space. I mean we (through the eyes of astronauts) have seen the curvature of the earth.
I know you're joking, and if you're not I'm horrified and slightly scared for the future 😉
Why is your voice so quiet? Dude dont tell me you are listening to the haters, you being loud adds to your character and the show, keep being awesome
I wanna see Humphrey do one of these science garage episodes.
Best cars channel: Donut media. Best bikes channel: Motorcyclist magazine.
Alexi Smith noriyaro is also pretty good, little to no music over the sound of engines, plus he's more a real word driver, drifter & drift commentator.
Guys could you please tell me the exact turning angle of most civil cars on the steering wheels? is that 900 totally on right and left?
Looks like you grabbed a star fish at 4:05 lol
