TRUE SIGHT is a documentary series that takes you behind the scenes of the journeys of professional Dota 2 teams. This episode follows Team Liquid and OG through the grand finals at The International 2019.
Respect in this context means you trust that your opponent is skilled enough to do the right thing. If you're in a position to fountain dive it's not disrespectful to do it, in this sense.
It never fails to impress me how versatile topson is, and his item decisions, radiance for ta, dagon combo for pugna since he knows all their heroes are squishy, and that iconic diffusal. This was the strongest version of team OG, their synergy is insane.
yeah I watch topson's stream he literally read and test every meta heroes and item.. so that's why he able to do this and that.. during this tournament no one expected diffu-gyro combo.. instant delete bb's mana
this was the strongest version of any dota team ever. they took "in dota, anything can work" to the next level. weird drafts with weird items and boom, back to back TI's. you'll never see anything like this probably ever again.
@@theleveljuan3151 if you watched the entire TI8 series, Topson was actually unbelievably good throughout up until the Finals given that it was his pro scene debut. The only reason why people thought he flopped in the finals was because LGD literally said their plan was to give Topson a bad game cos he is very hard to deal with when allowed to play freely. Which is why they regularly ganked Topson at mid to prevent him from moving about the map.

Yea i really do think what's keeping the og inside is how they approach every mistake. They don't dwell on it and they leave it behind. They are unstoppable because on how they view the game and life.
Topson looks like he won the last TI, went shopping, visited a beauty parlour and had a complete makeover and came back for TI Ana looks like he won the last TI, went inside his room to play Dota for a year and came back for TI again
He didn't even blink after winning $2m. I'd freaking jumping, screaming, running into that aegis! He is just a teenager and he was like 'look at these guys, what are they all fascinating about? Been a fan of OG since they started out, remembered really liking Notail, Era during Fnatic run 10 years ago. I have been watching this to get inspired, to lift my spirits up after being knocked down, betrayed so many times in life. The most pure team of trust and friendship, 2 ti's back to back with the same roster. I remember it clear as day when everyone said OG will fail and they didnt crash. They lift each other up, have fun and dont focus on winning. I guess I pretty much learn so much from watching their stories. This has been a tradition since TI8 and will keep coming back everytime I got demotivated. Against The Odds - OG True Sight TI8 True Sight TI9
This Roster will forever be memorialized in the History of Dota 2. What they did, What they achieved, How this roster came together . They are Legends of these game.
Everytime I watch this true sight, I always learn something new. First time when it was releasing I learned always respect your opponent. Second time I learned even though you respect them you don't have to show mercy. Third time I learned just to what you are best at.
the cherry on top is Ana spotted it because he needed to farm a wave first and they just baited them into crono xd. Void was chilling SOOO far back the whole fight.
They destroy the playmaker so they can fight much early on same strategy like vs EG destroy S4, destroy offlaner mostly is very effective cause offlane is playmaker can fight hard and die not like midlaner fight and flee
He actually referring to backliner tank and supporting the carry. Mc usually play Frontline tank and when he said play like ceb it actually mean change his strategy. But yeah there are better way to say that especially with all the stress.
Dude your in a game when finals maybe you also have pride and morale to help you as notail said it Dota is sick mental game imagine your being crush in 2 game straight (totally crush as you have watch it) and on the do or die game your team mate tell you to play and copy the play style of other player? How do your feel? Knowing that before that final match you did and play everything to reach that stage in you own play style lolz

thats the part that really got me. kuro was always this immovable mountain of a captain, really heartbreaking to see him kneel before og and acknowledge they were better. Like we can all see it that tourney, but deep down ti9 broke him a bit.
1-3 loss is so hard to take in a final, esp when he knows he let og io. But mistake is just another book to learn from, he's still a strongwilled guy and still wrecking the game
>watched true sight >Gets hyped by watching the players' go through hardships and decision makings >Gets motivated >Played Dota again after 6 months >Pick a versatile role support since you want to be more professional and knows how to adjust >Mid gets 0-5 >Trying to calm the team down like Kuro and Ceb do >Mid still feeding >Smashing keyboard and started cursing everyone on the team >Report all the team >Quit Dota again and wait til next true sight for a motivation to play
W33ha is actually making me cry, man. "At least you guys won a TI." "Two time, same shit." "Sorry i failed you in the end." "I could have done so much more." It's very blatant that he's blaming himself 100% for their loss. But goddamn coming from not actually playing at all to coming 2nd is an achievement itself for me. "I truly believed that i'm not even gonna play, but you brought me here, so thank you."
Supharb Chaleephan yes he did I think he is just shy to ask much about his suggestion since he is just a new member of the team but when he blame himself god damn he is really broken
@@Mingtams19 no, KURO didn't listen. He asked the other about playing the hero they want to play, but at game 2 he suddenly goes "hey i think TA and Tide is good this game" And he repeat it again on game 3. I think he's just too fixated on the strategy that they've made that he can't adapt to OG's draft. Meanwhile, when they DO adapt, Godson just goes big brain mode and bought Diffusal on their asses.
I just rewatched for the second time and even though I hated Kuro for the Ceb comment first time, I can see now that that was the first comment Kuro made in True Sight that was not telling them he was chilled and to lower the intensity. I can not blame him tbh.
I loved the vibe of Liquid/Nigma during this finals than the LGD's in the previous ones. Even though I rooted for OG on this finals, I still have massive respect for Liquid/Nigma because they clearly deserve it and it showed here crystal clear.
If you say Kuro is selfless you have ZERO psychological perception. He is so narcissistic, aggressive and controlling that it's awful to watch. Watch how he is with his teammates in the pod and during the breaks, would you like to be part of that team? I would never. He is a legend in the game and has earned his respect as a dota player in the history books no doubt, but his personality is freaking awful.
"But OG is the best" - This phrase by kuroki shows that OG has always been a team of friends and therefore they were strong, they did not care about money and prestige, they only thought about friends and a team. There are only 2 such teams in DotA, nigma and OG, but OG is the strongest team in DotA, which gathered together to destroy everything it could, thank OG
Doesnt matter actually OG win cause they have much better tactic and strategy much earlier in group stage, liquid talk about motivation its gonna more wrecked 3-0
Kuroky is good captain, dont get me wrong but i feel that kurokys decision makes his teammate hold back. Unlike Ceb, he consider his team mates what hero they want because he is confident and trust his team mate.
@@dankpepe2110 exactly, that's the most valuable thing i learned in this episode of true sight. Asking your team who they want to play, and what's he feeling. To most players, this motivation will always be the best
@@dankpepe2110 Man does that goes for MC too? "I want to play Prophet" here take Omni. Also, plays like 7ckngMad. You can clearly see he's not considering what his teammates want. He's not asking; He's always recommending. Clearest example: Game 3, most hero are his suggestion, and his teammates can only say "I like it". "TA looks good", "In my opinion, Jugg Gyro". Not hating on Kuro, he's a good captain. But if you want to praise him, praise him with his strong point, not the other way around.
24:25 "he's a good player" "he's a ti winner, ti finalist, what do you think. i've played with him" Kuro giving the respect for Jerax. goodbye Jesse, thanks for all the awesome performances. i've been following you since your liquid days. Good Luck in whatever your plan ahead!
Miracle: "Meepo can work too. Look at their team" Mean while in the other room, Ceb: "Isn't Meepo pretty good against our team?" Freaking top level Dota.
@@alfriesmacdonalds5879 Tiny and Elder Titan are good against meepo but not the other threee. This is why: 1. Pugna: Pugna's Nether Ward doesn't really hurt Meepo since he usually buys attribute items to tank up and can be killed very quickly by 4 clones. Decrepify can amplify Poof's damage should Pugna use it to avoid Meepo's right clicking. 2. Spectre: Spec’s haunt with Radiance may be useful for countering Meepo but if Meepo finds the real one, Spectral Dagger is useless. Non-Black King Bar heroes like her will suffer from all of Meepo's abilities. Meepo is also a very large counter as Spectre takes a long time to come online, normally farming in the jungle or in lane, which makes her an easy target for Meepo ganks. 3. Enchantress'Untouchable slows down Meepos attacks and Impetus can deal heavy pure damage to a single Meepo, however once Meepo has closed the gap she is an easy target for Poof.
Usually in big tournaments team play heroes they're comfortable playing. W33's meepo is one of the best meepos out there. Meepo was also good since they had tide that can set up initiations, chen that can heal and save a meepo. But OG had ET which reduces meepo's resistances and controls him too, tiny can burst a single meepo so JerAx said they can't meepo. Ceb knew it's w33s signature hero, and he knew that Miracle can basically play any hero since he did coach him during frankfurt major era
I prefer the the one before this with Chinese LGD. It feels good to win against them. This one is like, I like both teams so it's kinda like friendly feeling to watch.

Ana looks like he won the last TI, went inside his room to play Dota for a year and came back for TI again
Imkong Jamir Well that’s because that’s what Ana did lmao
This has been a tradition since TI8 and will keep coming back everytime I got demotivated.

the cherry on top is Ana spotted it because he needed to farm a wave first and they just baited them into crono xd. Void was chilling SOOO far back the whole fight.
rough as fuck , mc had really bad game , but cant blame it either
They destroy the playmaker so they can fight much early on same strategy like vs EG destroy S4, destroy offlaner mostly is very effective cause offlane is playmaker can fight hard and die not like midlaner fight and flee
First i thought he would throw the game but i see when him buy blink ahh man that feel so bad
From TI8 and TI9, I always love how Johan refers to Ana as "My Boy". Gives the father/big brother type of vibes.

Mean while in the other room, Ceb: "Isn't Meepo pretty good against our team?"
Freaking top level Dota.
I wish I knew why...
@@alfriesmacdonalds5879 Tiny and Elder Titan are good against meepo but not the other threee. This is why:
The two best teams that year without a doubt.
@@haziqrahmat6873 yeah true plus he went silver edge to shit on unbreakable and dispersion.
