Hi abdul. Don't worry about signing the EIF. When the notary interview starts they will unlock the document and you will be able to sign it right there and then.

So for each degree we have to do separate verification and pay separately for each? I have done MBBS and DCH.

Dear Dr, I just finished notarycam verification. When I came back to EPIC account and open my credentials, there is no upload options and it showed: you do not have a valid EPIC identification form on file. So I asked from chatbox to Notarycam verifying agent, she asked me to wait for 3 days.

What does it mean when your EIF is "created" ? Do we need to wait until it says "verified " and then upload the credentials ?

Just general questions. Confirm your name, date of birth, etc. Just have your passport with you at the notarycam interview.
I uploaded my MRCP diploma 10 days back and still it’s under review at Ecfmg!! How long would it take for epic to send it to RCP for verification??

Yes you should be able to verify a number of documents.

For me it was 3 days. But from the comments I've noticed it can be a bit longer (5-7 days).
Very helpful video, though I have a question- I finished me epic verification of my primary medical degree last year, now I finished MRCPCh degree and I need to verify it again to epic, so do I have to repeat the whole process again means notary cam thing or I can directly upload my degree in my credentials for epic.

Their website should say what was acceptable form of ID. I only remember passport.

The uploaded certificate should contain the exact date of passing or it is okay to have only year and month ?
GMC asks for documents containing an exact date. But i'm not a 100% on what epic wants. Try calling them and they should resolve this query fairly quickly.

You are very welcome. Electronically sign means they will ask you to type in your name during the notarycam interview.

No. Well atleast I didn't have to. Can't say how they will treat every other individual application. But generally no.

For the epic verification of your medical degree, you only need the degree.

Hi love this video, it was super helpful. I do have on more question though. If you already applied for usmle via form 186 and now you are applying for plab. Do you need to make another notarycam account and start the process all over again or you need use the same one?

The attendance end date is considered as the date when your internship ends? Or when the final year ends?

Thank you for your kind words! I have not been through the process of verifying a post graduate degree so I can't say. The GMC will lay out if this is a requirement for your registration with them or not.

Hi Mahwash. As far as I recall after your EIF is notarized you should be able to upload your degree for the verification process. You shouldn't have to worry about the EIF form after your notarycam interview.. Have you now tried uploading your degree?

Hi there. That's an interesting question. I don't completely know what to do in this specific circumstance. But it would be worth contacting the EPIC people themselves and just asking. They are helpful with questions like these. And once you find out do post the answer here so we can help other people with the same thing.

You should be able to. But I believe there will be a fee for that.

In the last step u have mentioned about tracking the progress of the verification by the university. Is it verified electronically or through paper mail? And is it verified by the university or by the medical school? Could you clear this up.
Well see it might be different for everyone depending on how your institution operates. In my case it was my medical colleague that verified it electronically. If you want to know how it is for yourself then it would be worth speaking to an admin person in your university about it.

I have a question brother....i have an ecfmg account(when i gave usmle step1 in 2019) and i did a notarycam at that time....does that help in epic verification for the GMC or should i start from the beginning with the verifivation process?

Hi. They send your ID in an email with further instructions on how to complete the EIF.
And they send your temporary logins in another email. Have you checked all your inboxes including junk?
Very informative. Thank you for uploading it. Did you send documents for verification through regular airmail or courier service to your certificate issuing institute in Pakistan. As I am in the same boat, and need your sincere advice on that.
Oh I was in Pakistan when I went through the process. So I was able to sort out things in person.

Can I upload my provisional degree certificate issued by the University? Or only permanent degree is valid? I will receive my final degree next year but I will hopefully pass both the PLABs before that.
One of my friends (from different University of the same state) have been rejected the provisional degree... If my verification is rejected at the 2nd step, do I have to pay 100 USD again for that?
Hi! Please be aware that your original degree is needed for EPIC verification. Wait till you have your final one.
Do you know if we can book PLAB by provisional degree certificate??
@Charmaine Sayi you just need your pass date of final year exams to book the plab 1 and ielts/oet. There is no need for the degree. You'll need your degree down the line to get your GMC lisence.

I have applied for step 1 usmle too, which means I have already done form 186 passport notary cam verification. Plus I got my medical school degree verified when i logged into my ecfmg portal (usmle). Does this change the EPIC process in any ways? Thank you!

Hi Dorji. Generally it's Email. Thats the way they did it for me. But I can't guarantee what it will be like in different countries for different universities.

Hello Dr, I uploaded by mistake a colour copy of my Mbbs degree certificate instead of original pdf certificate. It already sent and can I re- upload my original photo pdf again, will it take more time again or is it ok to upload the copy of cert pdf
They will usually respond really fast about any unacceptable formats. Shouldn't cause a huge delay I imagine. Did the issue get resolved?

Well that depends on what yiu are verifying. For purposes of GMC registration through PLAB route its just your medical degree.

Hi, thanks for the video, I am having issue with the notarycam.
I didn’t get a mail or a link to schedule an appointment for the interview.
However I was on a page showing my form and passport and there’s an option of meet notary at the right upper corner.
I was taken to my he waiting room when I clicked on it , waited for some hours and I couldn’t still get it done.

Not at all. Be sure to complete your gmc registration within one year of sending the report though. Otherwise you may have to send it again.

Hi. I'm sorry you had to go through that sort of experience. I can't say if it will cause problems or not. Best people to ask would be EPIC about this if in doubt.
