Watching this video again after seeing "Top Gun: Maverick" makes me appreciate the shots selection and overall cinematography by the editors/camera guys even more, when watching the Dudes shoot planes off of the deck.
Seriously, put "Danger Zone" over that, and you have the intro to any "Top Gun" movie 😎🍿🎬

I joined the navy after (not due to) watching this video. I'm looking back on it now and noticing so much, like, "there's a Petty Officer," "there's a lieutenant," "I know what that hatch is for," etc. It's honestly really fun

Awesome video. So thankful for all the brave men and women who serve in the US Navy. This reminded me of 2 things from my childhood in the 80’s. 1. The Video for Dreams by Van Halen featuring the Blue Angels. 2. The G.I. Joe aircraft carrier USS Flag. My cousins had it. It was one of the largest toys ever.

My dad was actually a pilot for the Navy for 20 years! He went on carriers a lot, and one of his flight friends was actually a Blue Angel! My mom actually saw him in Annapolis about a year ago when they had the Blue Angel show and he was commentating on what the Angels were doing (he’s also retired.) This video was super cool and it looks so fun!

As a Top Gun fan, this would be the best thing I ever could go on. Being on a carrier amd flying in a F-18 Super Hornet must be one of the coolest things on earth, especially for a Top Gun fan.

I’ve been in the Navy for almost 14 years and y’all have gotten to do things that I will never get to. Lucky dudes for sure.

It always makes me smile when I see their videos after all these years because it reminds me how far they've come.

I'm glad you had the chance to go onto a carrier. I did two 6 months + West Pacs and a Rim Pac working the flight deck the whole time. Loved every moment of it. I had to find a hobby to slow me down so I got into skydiving. You got to try that.

It's cool to see people getting excited over being on a carrier. I'm a sailor on one. The childlike wonder of watching the jets and seeing the ship work underway hasn't gone away for me just yet. I love seeing these guys getting excited about it!

I used to be in the navy, I worked in the air division on helicopters. This video made me smile so much! Thank you guys!

I lost count of how many times I just shook my head at all the fun, cool things they did on this adventure.

This is amazing!! I was stationed on the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN-69 from 94-96. I was a red shirt, an AO (Ordnanceman) and being on the flight deck is just amazing!!! I was responsible for putting the carts together with all the munitions for a plane. So that includes all the bombs, missiles, and cannon munitions for their sorties. Brought back some great memories from doing those FOD walks, swim calls when we were in the Bahamas, and SOO many nights in near blackout conditions in the Atlantic and Mediterranean sea just looking at the stars when sorties weren't being run. Also since our captain was awesome, some things I remember him authorizing was basketball in the hanger bay and pallet jack races! As you all saw the hanger bay is HUGE, we would get pallet jacks and kick start them and use momentum and swinging your body back and forth to get them going pretty fast, then looping the outside track they usually kept clear for those doing PT (running). I loved my time on the carrier, and looks like you guys did to!

This was probably a great time for these sailors, spending months doing their jobs and then having these super light hearted guys genuinely interested in what they’re doing and yes they’re making a video but they want to help anyway they can

Ive been on the USS Lexington which was awesome. All the Iowa battleships plus the USS Midway are on my bucket list. Im going to see the Midway this summer though,
Edit: When i was touring the Lexington my guide, a former veteran who served on the USS America said he and his friends would ocasionally catch shark of the side of the ship.

My son turned me on to Dude perfect, great videos. I'm watching F/18s and

Remember when Dude Perfect was a group of young men doing trick shots in their backyard?

Of all of the things they did, flying with the Blue Angels to me is the biggest bucket list item. It’ll probably never happen, but man would it be cool.

Could also be the 1st time an F-16 Fighting Falcon flew off of the U.S.S. Nimitz too, now that I think about it. AND you get to fly with the Blue Angels? Well thanks for sharing, that's pretty cool lol xD

In researching these airborne vessels, or aeronautics the technology overwhelms me someone out there has the right touch in technology. I am thrilled to know there is a super engineer.

It would be neat if you guys could build/buy a huge Zeppelin and live and play up in it for a week. Pretty sure you could do all manner of bucket list thing that way too as not many have had the chance to do much in Zeppelins even though they are much safer to fly and use these days.
