When Ben Affleck was announced as Batman never did I think that he would become my favorite. His portrayal of Bruce Wayne/Batman was amazing. I found it to be the perfect level of grounded and realistic while also staying true to the style in the comics. A low he had not played the character before he was able to give the sense that he had been Batman for 20 years. And that he was a grizzled, more experienced Batman than we've seen on film before. Great tribute

In the main earth there were moments where he has Killed (not the same as murder) criminals because he didnt find other quick way to solve the conflict. (Bill Finger comics, 80's,90's, beautiful people, etc)
And in other earths even an established Batman/Bruce Wayne has killed after a new tragic event that screws his mind, making him fall.
Its almost a rule in comics... If Batman loses all hope, he will lose his mind. (Brother eye, Batman Venom, Red Death Batman, earth-51, etc)
However unlike many earths where the writter gives Up on that Batman. Zack Snyder uses that Batman, and develops him.
And at the end of BvS:ue , the kill rage is gone, Thanks TO Superman's sacrifice, giving Hope to Batman about the metahumans good. He stops and doesnt kill Luthor, he even stops branding people.
BvS shows that its negative for him and everyone else when he Falls into nihilistic hopelessness.
Batman shouldnt kill.
But, he has Killed.

You need an analytical and objective viewpoint to direct the dceu, that’s why Feige has been successful with marvel. JJ abrams is too much of a geek as well. Ben's take on the character was something I always wanted, a brooding hulking Batman, a seasoned veteran of war, it was such a waste that they did not treasure his potential, he could have given us something equal to or something better than Bale's Batman... Such a shame that we never really got to see it...
The warehouse scene and the nightmare sequence are Batman’s best moment on screen period.
He was an Actor that didn't want to do all the Working out to be the best Batman...
He didn't know he didn't have to do that to be the best Batman..

This reminds me how Zack Snyder had a unique vision for DC and how we lost it. Yes i blame myself and the general audience who were put off by BvS. We weren't ready Zack, we were nowhere close to ready for your vision. You took us by surprise. I can visualize now the direction all this could have gone but it's probably too late now. We failed you big time by not keeping an open mind and the Studio failed you by screwing up your edits and basically murdering your work because they lacked the balls to continue with their original vision.

Ben Affleck Batman wasn't the best. Bale's Batman is by far the greatest. It introduced real world problems into the fold of Batman and had a present time experience for it as well. If a Batman would be real Bale's is by far the most realistic.

i think Affleck captured Batmans brutality and grief brilliantly. Bale better captured the message of heroism and sacrifice that Batman makes, he also did the perfect job on portraying Bruce Wayne. Mixing Affleck and Bale would've created a Batman of legend. Sad to see how they wasted Afflecks potential.

One of the best interpretations of the Bat I've ever seen. Although his tenure was short, it was by far one of the most memorable and unique. I tried to get a friend to watch it and he thought it didn’t make sense.
I couldn’t change his mind.
He was probably right.
But there is something special about that movie.
I can’t explain it.
I can’t make anyone else get it.
You have to find it for yourself.
But there is definitely something special about that movie.

I find it so tragic that the mans real life mirrors his character and ultimately drove him away from it. But seeing behind the scenes of how happy and healthy he is.
I can honestly say he truly became Bruce Wayne for us

Love this. The opening is stunning, the action sequences give me chills and the transition at 2:41 is sublime. The only thing I recommend is to try and adjust the music volume during dialogue. Good work man

My dad and I had some of the same conversations that Bruce and Alfred had. "I'm getting slow at my old age dad. 20 years in Arizona dad, we how much promises are worth. How many good guys are left, how many stayed that way.
I love how the editing makes it look like Batman and Superman have been friends and allies for years, so the fight really is like it’s from The Dark Knight Returns.
That was exactly what I was going for. Despite just being two movies, I really wanted to make it meaningful.

The thing about batflek is after Jason Todd died he went down a dark path and that’s why he kills people. Because he realizes that it doesn’t matter anymore, the pain he endures from his parents being murdered is still there. But he figures what’s the point of fighting people if their just gonna come back again and again. He kills because he has no other option, he kills because his parents death are meaningless now because it’s been 20 years, Jason was the only thing holding him back from going on that path. Now that he’s gone, there’s no other option but to kill. This isn’t a bad interpretation of Batman, it’s his REAL future.
I was a huge fan of bale's dark knight. I watched the trilogy like more than 100 times lol. When it was announced that affleck will be the new bat i was not interested at all. I was interested only on the idea of batman vs superman, but when i watched it, i was like man this batman is awesome. Now im a huge fan of both of them and tbh, i wish to see more of affleck's batman.
