I’ll never forget when I took my son home how scared I was because the nurses weren’t gonna be there lol! but my mom would come over to help me and sometimes she would sleep over so I could rest but little by little you get the hang of it! And i do believe that it does get easier make sure you nap when she naps swaddles and white noise help alot to help them sleep as well 💗💗💗

I had the baby blues during the first week. I was crying every day. I loved my baby but I was so sad that things felt different and I couldn’t respond to my baby as fast as I wanted because of my c section. If your sadness lasts more than 3 weeks that’s when it’s postpartum depression but if it doesn’t then it’s just the baby blues. First couple of weeks it’s your hormones regulating and of course it’s an adjustment period. You will have so much fun seeing your baby grow. I love being a mama!

Itsel A I pooped with my 3rd baby.! I didn’t realize until I got up to seat on the wheelchair and I got that smell. I looked back at my bed and sure enough I did. Did I care? No i didn’t. I just wanted to shower when I was transferred to the postpartum room. I couldn’t shower because of my IV. So I asked for wet wipes and showered the next morning.
Yes! Also when she mentioned about learning not to feel guilty over her depression I was so glad she learned that early on!

After I gave birth I felt so depressed and I would cry for everything literally, talk to your boyfriend keep distracted and NEVER compare your body to other girls after birth. Your body will go back to normal and you still will look beautiful so relax and focus on being the best you and the best mom 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Feeling depressed is totally normally. Dont be hard on yourself. With my first i had post partum depression for 6 months. With my second i had it for two weeks. Your hormones are still adjusting. Its okay to feel sad, ask for help, rest.
Exactly! No new mother should feel guilty, takes 12 months+ for our bodies to even semi go back to normal after childbirth!
I had it for almost 2 years.... Well the 1st year it felt like post partum..the other year felt like i was just depressed with myself. Now i am better ❤

You should get the baby used to noise and talk normal even if she’s sleeping that way when she’s older she won’t wake up with the smallest sounds. She can sleep through all the family parties in the future lol. $96jaytee
Yep when my babies would sleep I would leave the tv on or the radio not too loud just like a soft volume tone and as they got older I would turn it up more. It works when people were around loud people lol they would sleep, at parties and even when I’m jamming while cleaning. On the other hand some family members wouldn’t get the baby use to the noise so when we were at a party or family gathering the baby would cry so much they had to leave. Just a tip !! I have 3 kids , and everyone would ask how would my babies be sleeping so calm with the noise lol
YASSSS!!! I got my baby used to sleeping with the TV loud and music. My son would fall asleep at family parties where the DJ is all loud.

Yes! Sound machines are amazing for that! I hate having the tv on because of the light and I’m not always in the mood to listen to music so a sound machine has been super helpful!!!

My sis in law went through PPD too and never really treated it and it has continued throughout her life now. So I def recommend paying attention to it. What you experienced is called the “baby blues” I experience this myself. I was sad and cried for 2 or 3 days but I got over it like nothing ever happened.

I so understand the full on natural birth experience, and that “ball” feeling down there my lord no one understands that urge to push!! Btw the way you explained that feeling when pushing girl I get you 1000% 😭😭 what a that relief from those contractions! So glad you got to experience a full on natural birth its such a beautiful experience 🥺🥺! No shame on c-sections and epidurals 😭 i got an epidural with my first one and with my second one I did it naturally 😭😭! So happy for you Elsy you deserve so much ❤️❤️❤️

When I first had my daughter I cried everyday several times a day for a month. She is my first child and I am two hours away from home I also had csection and her dad had to go back to work so it was really hard. But it’s normal you’ll get the hang of motherhood it really does come naturally none of us are perfect. Just take a few mins to breath when you can it is important rest when you can but in time it will get easier. If you are fortunate or choose to breastfeed lots of water helps also anise tea. Use the anise seeds let it soak in hot water then strain or they already sell tea bags lots of pumping when you can will help with the milk flow and any kind of oatmeal or oatmeal cookies. Mothers milk as well. Also if you’re baby has a hard time sleeping we would put in white noise or turn on the shower and rock her until she slept or play running water sound on KRplus it worked a lot when she went through sleep regression around 3/4 months. My daughter is 10 months today and time is flying, being a parent is the hardest most rewarding job we volunteer for. She’s a beauty, great job mama.
