honestly!! I have a chronic illness that makes me have a veryyyy limited diet (mcas) and MY OWN PARENTS don’t even do that for me when they have ppl over. it’s not nearly as hard to add gluten free or dairy free options than it is to accommodate my diet but that extra step to make sure they’re okay to eat at an event is something ppl don’t often consider. like even at friends parties they don’t even ask me if i want anything specific for my diet or if i’m okay to eat there (and i DO NOT expect them to).
but for emma she just cares about ppl and isnt solely focused on her own needs which is hard to find
edit: forgot to add that i have gluten and dairy intolerances too and friends and family often don’t even accommodate those, which is fine but emma’s a queen for this!!

I just love how chill and stress free she is while hosting, where as when my desi mom hosts we are forced to wake up at 7 am and help cook and clean plus double vacuum (night before and the day of the event) , when my mom cooks she's in the kitchen for like 6 hours!!! I get that it's a pool party must be a lot less stressful but I am pretty sure my mom would make hosting a pool party very stressful as well.
