i remember waking up by noon during the pandemic sundays and then going to my computer and checking out for new emma videos because that was all i had to do. i remember this video was the last one before emma took a break and then change her videos aesthetic. that was such a weird time but it is so comforting to recall it for some reason

Not a scientist but an engineer. Drinking with a straw you don’t allow any additional air in your system. So you push out excess air that you take in when you drink from a can and I did subscribe because burping shamelessly is part of your charm.

This is just for fun but the reason you burp more when you drink directly out of a can versus drinking with a straw is that you take in more air bubbles when drinking out of the can. The straw compresses these air bubbles and fills up the volume space in the straw but it doesn't do that with the can. Hope this answers the question!

Try putting the cats' water bowls further away from their food. There's actually something instinctual about preferring their food resource to be away from their water resource.

the burping without the straw is because when you suck the drink out of the can you're inhaling too much air and that makes you burp :) the straw stops that but you could also try to inhale less when you take a sip

Even though I kind of outgrew her channel, I think it is nice that Emma is still semi-normal. I see a lot of girls from the “dote girl” era and they’ve become very performative and they look mentally and physically TIRED. No one talks about how social media is a whole rat race and once you start you can’t just quit. Everyone’s watching, you got bills to pay, an image to upkeep, and you got to keep making content and keeping up with the trends. I’m just glad Emma does her own thing and looks happier and healthier than she was before. Very few influencers can get to that healthy balance.
