An interesting tidbit about the automatic curved screen it looks like it mostly pulls away from you in order to make the curve, the side seem to stay relatively in the same place and the middle of the screen goes away from you in order to create the curve In an actual product I would hope that the sides are what come towards you and the middle stays where it is in order to create the immersiveness of a curved screen

you could lower the brightness, I assume it's 40% to 70-80% meaning it can let as much as 40% but the darkest black can't block the last 20%. So within that range you could potentially change the brightness, but why not use an electric tinted window, I am not sure how great those work but it sounds like they could do what you suggest for cheaper.

The clear oled screen for a window would be neat for a business but a train, it would be annoying for people who just want to look out the window. The end of the bed oled is pointless. Put it on a regular format on the wall with those features. The curved screen something Samsung already tried. The only way I can see this being worth it for a more wrap around gaming experience is it needs to be double or even triple as wide. The large 8k screens however seem exciting.

@@allpar300m6 actually I have a 65" KS9090 curved. It is so different as anything else. Beautiful slim design and curved. The immersion of Movies is an another one then the one you get with flat screens. I would definitely buy the same one, but even with MicroLED and probably 75" instead.

But extending to obstruct the content on the tv? Terrible. Better use cases would be in vehicle windows as HUDs or some other useful application.

Yeah I think once its development is more solid it'll slowly and easily be implemented in the ways you mentioned. Windows(car, train or home), phones, glasses(maybe to replace smartphones entirely), Windshields(HUD for drivers). And we don't know what else will develop over time while this does. In 2031 We might see an electric autonomous flying car with windows like this.

it looks like it mostly pulls away from you in order to make the curve, the side seem to stay relatively in the same place and the middle of the screen goes away from you in order to create the curve
In an actual product I would hope that the sides are what come towards you and the middle stays where it is in order to create the immersiveness of a curved screen

would be cool if you could adjust transperency and brightness
you could lower the brightness, I assume it's 40% to 70-80% meaning it can let as much as 40% but the darkest black can't block the last 20%. So within that range you could potentially change the brightness, but why not use an electric tinted window, I am not sure how great those work but it sounds like they could do what you suggest for cheaper.

I will be getting a C1 to replace my C7. The C7 has been my gaming monitor since 2018 and it's been great, but it will go to the bedroom so I can have 4K 120hz for my PC to pair up with the PS5 and PC.
If you are not worried about burn-in, go for it. With all the static gaming elements I would not recommend it. How is your room? Are there many windows, because then you should stay away from OLED

An interesting technology but i don't like to muck the idea of using it as home TV (when it's off it will a empty space in your wall) and cellphones (zero privacy because people in front of you will be able to also see what's on screen), but this will work perfectly as some a public technology on both indoors and outdoors environments

Koreans are very talented
The clear oled screen for a window would be neat for a business but a train, it would be annoying for people who just want to look out the window. The end of the bed oled is pointless. Put it on a regular format on the wall with those features. The curved screen something Samsung already tried. The only way I can see this being worth it for a more wrap around gaming experience is it needs to be double or even triple as wide. The large 8k screens however seem exciting.

@@allpar300m6 actually I have a 65" KS9090 curved. It is so different as anything else. Beautiful slim design and curved. The immersion of Movies is an another one then the one you get with flat screens. I would definitely buy the same one, but even with MicroLED and probably 75" instead.

Those transparent TVs better to be cheap otherwise they are useless in many cases such as trains. There are plenty of empty walls in the trains to put a normal cheap LCD on it.
