I have to say she is the best female lgbt representation we've had on tv in a long long time! She's very positive, good energy and doesn't do drugs. God bless JoJo! I wish she was around when I was little.

OK, I have to say it: this interviewer is freaking amazing! She did her job informing herself beforehand about everything 'Jojo' that is current and important... From her feud with Nickelodeon, to her relationship status. I see so many embarrassing interviews because of the lack of preparation, that this was such a breath of fresh air. Good job ET!

They did incredible. I love them both. Jenna is easily one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in my life. And JoJo just sparkles. She has a ton of energy and just seems so nice. I love how JoJo held Jenna up and they continued through it. JoJo and Jenna are my new favorites. Honestly can not understand why people dislike her so much. She's just happy and genuine. How has she "improved"? This is the first dance. You won't know if she "improves" until the season progresses.

@@chloes.8026 I say she has improved because I know she was a dancer in Dance Moms. She has a great personality but she lacks in execution of her technique. But she decided to take everything that she had learned from Abby and be better as a dancer. That is why I said that she improved as a dancer. And she was more of a solo player in dancing than a team player and here she actually became a matured person.

When she was in dance moms I think she was one of the best dancers. She looks so pretty in her stage clothes, all the other girls were so stuck up, it seems like they were intimidated by her bright self . She's awesome
She wasn't the best dancer their, she had poor technique, lacked flexibility, her face was the reason why no one payed attention to her sickled feet!

Definitely nice to see her getting back to her dancing roots and changing the path of this show for the better.

Actually Mel C/ sporty spice from the spice girls is also a dancer/can dance, I believe Zendaya did dancing with the stars too one year and she’s a dancer. Ballroom is different to what JoJo was trained in

Every season there’s professional dancers, from ex-dance moms, ex-Disney kids, broadway stars, the important thing is not being trained in ballroom

JoJo is always so grateful and happy for what happens. This type of show is perfect for her and Jenna was the best, sweetest and most helpful person she could have partnered with. Her choreography was top notch. JoJo did an outstanding job dancing ballroom for the first time. Jenna was right, dancing w/a girl has it's difficulty issues, but they handled it so well. TY for working so hard for the audience, each other and everyone.

@@solar1073 with all due respect for your opinion. I disagree. They are considered one, and if one partner messes up, then the score should reflect that. Yes, I enjoyed their routine, but to give them such a high score was unfair to the other duos.

WOW what a shocker. The Highest score in a DANCE Contest goes to the only team with 2 professional dancers. Who would have thought. Lets have a TV Show where we have celebrities play golf and one of the contestants is Phil Mickelson.
Untrue. Amanda Kloots is a former member of the Rockettes. Pretty sure she has also danced on Broadway a bunch. If that doesn’t make her a professional dancer I’m not sure what does….

Many actors have some dance training and there have been a bunch of celebs that have done the show that had some dance training. The key is that they are not trained in ballroom. This season there are like 6 celebs with extensive dance training (Cody was a backup dancer for Katy Perry, Sporty Spice was with Mel B the best dancer of the Spice Girls, Melora studied dance with Patrick Swayze, Christine studied ballet, Amanda was a Rockette)

Obviously, they've made history by being the first to do it on DWTS but they haven't made history by being the first ever to do it. That honour goes to 'Strictly Come Dancing' (the original UK version).
Referring to 2 girls dancing, Jenna says "this has clearly never been done before" yet that's not "strictly" true, because SCD had a same-sex female couple last year are making television history again this year with the first ever same-sex male couple!
Major kudos to both shows though for being SO open & inclusive. I'm glad that the shift is slowly happening in the right direction to hopefully get to a point one day where literally no-one will care about the colour of your skin, where you come from, who you love and how you choose to live your life. I hope I live to see that day!

I’m confused... didn’t JoJo originally become famous from Dance Mom’s? Do contestants on this show usually come from a dancing background?
Some do come from dancing backgrounds, but its usually ones who was not trained in ballroom. Jojo was not, Melanie(Sporty spice) also has a dancing background as well.

Y’all are complaining about Jojo being a professional dancer, but Kenzie Ziegler was on DWTS jrs and Jojo was never trained in this style of dance. How many of the other “stars”probably took dance classes as a kid or did competition dance. But because Jojo did competition dance on a reality tv show as a kid so people think she’s too qualified to be on DWTS. I really hope she wins, she’s made history as a queer icon
