I think Ben has been following JLO for a long time. Makes me wonder if this why he has been so depressed for so many years. The woman that got away. I am just so happy for them. I totally agree Yolanda! He self-admittedly was miserable the entire time he was married to Jennifer Garner. I believe it was because he didn't choose to be with the woman he truly loved and was happy with (J.Lo). He let outside influences, pressures and fears keep him from choosing happiness; and instead chose the "safe" and convenient route (Garner). It drove him to depression and extreme alcoholism. Ben and J.Lo both admitted that they still remained great friends after the break-up, and frequently kept in contact. Like you said, I think he had been watching her for a while, and probably heard all the rumors about ARod's infidelity. When he realized she might be single---that's when he began writing her letters and emails saying how much he loved her, as well as how he longed to be with her. He didn't want to miss his chance, again. I always say that they're the loves of eachothers' lives and soulmates/twin flames. I really wish them the best, as well! They seem to be genuinely in love. ❤❤
