i kinda believe her tho. i go to a private college prep school and there was this girl who graduated the year before i started going there who was super rich but had terrible grades so her parents paid for her to get into a good school and she had no idea, she legitimately thought she got into college fairly and i’m pretty sure she dropped out after she found out.

@@juliataylor1829 exactly! NO ONE forced her to do anything. She knew EXACTLY what was going on and had PLENTY of time to speak up to her mother and tell her she doesn't want to be a part of it. And it showed when she made one sly remark on her channel and said "You guys know I don't really care about school." "I just want to go to parties, join clubs and do all of the college activities." Then tried to pretend it was taken out of context when her viewers called her out for her BS and tried to pretend she was super grateful and what not. Bitch please, anyone who walks around wearing Gucci because her parents could afford to buy it for her is already an ungrateful person. She needs to learn some culture and start to count her blessings before they all disappear one by one.

When they said she still carries some resentment towards her mom, I think it's because she didn't actually want to go to college and her mom probably forced her to go. She was into beauty and fashion and wanted to do that instead. Now that she's involved in this scandal, she's blaming her mom. At least that's what I think.

When Dr Dre donated $ 70 million to USC so his daughter would be accepted as a student it also took a spot of a student who earned a high grade point average with high ACT and SAT tests scores also lost a spot at USC but keyboard warriors do not seem to be complaining about that.

The morality can be debated but Aunt Becky knew she was getting her daughter in USC under fraudulent terms by lying about being on the rowing team. That is what makes it illegal (but I do agree that buying a kid's acceptance into school is shitty too)

If it’s not Olivia Jade‘s mother who’s going to commit the crime, it is going to be somebody else’s rich family that will commit the crime because that’s what Rich people do, this is not something new. I think the more important thing is that you guys are just mad because it’s Olivia Jade’s mother who committed this crime, if it had been anybody else you people would be over this. If the college was so concerned about these poor individuals that got their spots taken away by Olivia and her sister, then the college should reach out and give these individuals a full scholarship for their troubles, otherwise it’s obviously not that important.

I honestly don't understand why anyone is angry with Olivia Jade. She clearly didn't want to go to the college and it was forced upon her by her parents. It's not like she was crying to mommy and daddy to pay her way in. It should be her decision to either go to college or not. Maybe she is an entitled brat but, again, her parents made her that way.
