Wynonna Judd Cries Revealing She'll 'Honor' Late Mom Naomi By Touring

My heart breaks for these girls. They're so brave and strong, which sure says a lot for Naomi.

When we lose our moms & dads, we lose our first friend, our first teacher, our feeling of "home" and that's like your foundation being ripped from your heart & soul. There is nobody that will love you more than your mom & dad did. It's unconditional, forgiving and life long. Blessings out to Wynonna, Ashley & Pop. I watched this and know what loosing a mother is all about. Remember this "Tears are not a sign of weakness, but a great sign of love". May those tears that you wipe from your eyes carry your heart to a place where one day I promise will be easier to carry. Cry thru the loss and feel your pain, don't shut it out or ignore it, you are both very beautiful and everything she was made from. Carry her and honour her every day. So glad that Wynonna is going to pay tribute to her mom by moving forward with the concert the two of them were scheduled to perform. It truly will be a great honor she is paying her mom, whose greatest achievement amongst many in life was being the fierce and focused single mother to Ashley and Wynonna. I have purchased my tickets to the first show in Grand Rapids in September, in part to watch the force that is Wynona Judd in concert (having been to one of her concerts previously) but also to show her how much she is loved and supported by so many. She and Ashley were so unbelievably strong and supportive of their mother's legacy and of one another tonight in this tribute, what a credit to their mom they both continue to be.

Can’t wait for Nashville! I will be celebrating and crying with the other thousands of fans!!

This brings me to tears. I am right there with her. My parents loved The Judds and raised my brother and I with their music. We lost my dad 2/2/22 to a heart attack and mom 2/22/22 to cancer. I have been listening to a lot of Judds music the last 3 months. Yesterday was the joint celebration of lives and by far the hardest day. Much love to the Judd family in this time of grief.

Her music has sustained me over the years. My heart is broken for Ashley and Wynonna. I hope they can feel the love that all of us feel! I hope that their faith sustains them during this difficult time. Wynonna, I love you! God bless you and your family

I know her pain as I too just lost my precious mom. I cry daily. And everything is a constant reminder of her. I miss my mom a 100 times a day. We will be right here with you both..

Wynonna and Ashley are such eloquent communicators, and their honesty is what touches fans so deeply. They learned that from their dear mom. If only love could have healed the devastating depression that plagued Naomi, but her honesty about that part of her life has also reached the many who are living with it, and not knowing why they feel so empty, even when their lives are full.

Something about this loss at this time has really touched me. I don’t know this family and never bought their music although I heard them on talk shows and radio.
I feel very upset about this entire issue and feel terribly about how she died in extreme disparities.
God help this family and others who suffer in depression .

Wy didn’t think in the 1990’s that she could go on to a solo career but her momma raised a strong girl who went on to have an amazing solo career and now you keep going on and singing and using the gift God have you for healing

I lost my mom to a 21 year battle with Parkinson’s disease on 3-19-18 and while it’s not a mental illness, it sure changed her personality. I’m almost 49 years old but when you lose your mom, suddenly age doesn’t matter. All you want is your mom back. You feel lost and alone. My heart breaks for Naomi’s family, friends and fans who adored her. I’m praying for all of them.

You can cry all the way around the country and we will be hugging you every mile of the way.

Losing a parent is the second most painful experience. Losing a child is number 1. I know what these ladies are going through. I lost my mother 15 years ago. I often laid in bed in the fetal position bawling my eyes out for the 1st year. I have suffered alot in the 90's from so many of my family members dying but Mom's was the hardest. I just lost another loved one on Thursday. My Aunt Scotty from Mom's side passed away. I considered her like a second mom. My heart goes out to these ladies. ❤

My heart is with this family so deeply. I lost my mom unexpectedly a year ago, and there’s truly no agony and sorrow like losing a beloved mother. 💔😰 I love what she said about “family of choice.” I don’t have much in the way of blood family that I’m close with, but I have a wonderful support system and some truly amazing people around me that are helping me get through one day at a time. For that I am incredibly thankful. All my love and prayers to this beautiful family. 🙏🏼❤️

I cannot imagine her pain. I lost my best friend of 34 years because she took her life. Its so hard for me now 5 months later that I cannot imagine the pain they are going through. Its so so hard.

It truly touches my heart to see Wynnona up there talking to the fans and all who know her and Naomi. I know how difficult this must be yet she Carries herself with such grace. I give her so much credit for deciding to go on with the tour. Even though it won’t be easy she won’t be alone for God will be with her every step of the way
