i’m actually so proud of ollie i feel like he doesn’t give himself enough credit, learning a language is so hard because u have to read, write, speak and understand, and considering it’s a language that isn’t like french where the words are similar to english, it’s a whole other different form and letters (not sure what it’s actually called)

I think you’re referring to script/alphabet! Like french, english, spanish etc. use roman script
to me its hard to speak french why because english and dutch are similar for me a bit also german but to speak french it so hard for yh i dunno but i understand well but don’t have the confidence to speak like aniexty mode why is that im from Belguim i grew up speaking urdu/punjabi dutch, english, im hard hearing so sign language 🤟 and little bit french.

@@sillydominikay its better to learn the romanised version after the symbols because everything in Korea is written with symbols. It just makes things more convenient when writing and reading too. But that's just what I think, everyone does it differently

Yeah learning languages is like that. But he wouldn't understand if people talk fast because he's having a hard time structuring the sentence that's why he can only say one word at a time when forming sentences. He's pretty awesome tho because his point can get across them even if it's not a fully structured sentence haha
I've watched Korean shows for the past 5 years i think, mainly variety shows ofc with english subs. I've never bothered to learn the language. But i can understand some basic words and sentences but I can't speak and construct full sentences. Since Korean has two types that is formal and informal construction. So basically its hard to learn Korean or just languages in general.
He doesn't get enough credit. He is doing very well considering every practice buddy he has is levels above his skills so it's intimidating, plus Korean is a difficult to learn language.
