The timing is insane. The channel, that made this video, epicmusicvn, released their most viewed video 10 years ago. That video MADE ME. I think this was around the time I smoked the first time, back then I could still feel. I remember how I sat in front of my PC, glued to the pure epicness of the music and the visuals, feeling like the most badass warrior.
Times changed. I got neglected. I turned into a worrier. Having fun gaming with friends it turned to 10 hours of unfun grinding. Being excited about school turned into having panic attacks. Having friends turned into being bullied for my sexuality and autism. Fun conversations turned into manic discussions.
One joint turned into an addiction.
I just wanted to escape it all, the feelings, the worries, the hurt, the pure despair. It worked, somewhat. I'm still alive, let's put it that way.
That shit is over. I have struggled and fought enough. I'm not just a warrior anymore. I'm a general. I've fought all the battles. I won.
Now, TEN YEARS later, i can feel again. This newly released video feels like it was made for me. To close a chapter. To leave behind, to move on. While writing this text, tears are flowing down my face. My whole body is shivering. I'm alive, you guys. And that feels great. Oh man, I could hug the world right now.

J'ai passé des mois à chercher ces vidéos. C'était en 2013 je les ai écouté pour la première fois. Vous n'imaginez pas ce que ces musiques apportent dans la vie des gens. J'ai connu des moments les plus sombres de ma vie. La famille m'a tourné le dos. J'ai quitté mon pays pour me chercher. La guerre civile a éclaté quand j'étais à l'aventure, j'ai réussi à fuir les coups de tir et à revenir dans mon pays me cacher pour me reconstruire. Je suis tombé sur ces chansons épiques. Je me suis forgé un mental d'acier; et je suis devenu inébranlable. Aujourd'hui je suis en train d'accomplir mon rêve. Je ne vous remercierai jamais assez pour vos efforts à compiler ces chansons et à les mettre à disposition de l'humanité. Chaque être dans cet univers est une légende. Il suffit d'un déclic pour en prendre conscience et amorcer un changement radical dans sa vie. Et c'est le rôle de ces chansons pour moi. Apporter le déclic et devenir une corde sur laquelle on s'accroche à chaque fois que l'on manque de motivation et de soutien moral pour avancer. Merci pour la lumière apportée dans ma vie... Watching to catch the first 35 minutes I missed & of course I'd missed some of my favs, "become a legend, Heart of courage & For the Win" practically in tears when I heard HoC as didn't expect it, don't remember ever seeing ye's do a cinematic for it. A great selection of music, so glad I caught the stream, the end message with willpower got to me, think all my favourite songs were here except Protectors of earth by TSFH, unless there was a moment during stream I missed.
