Great for UT, Sarkisian is a very good coach. And I am happy for him. Having to over come the personal challenges he dealt with is not easy.
He's got the skill players at Texas, Need to recruit the big uglies and we will be set. Hookem!

Texas fans went from trying to hire Urban Meyer who is like 120-30 as a head coach. To hiring a coach that is like 45-32 as a head coach. Lol. I mean, best of luck. It is the Big12, where the conference gets about 30 4-star & 5-star players per year, while the SEC gets about 105 per year and the Big 10 gets about 50 per year.

5-star talent is what made Sark successful at Alabama. "Seven-win Steve" ran the same offense at Washington and USC. His biggest challenge will be withstanding the Texas big boosters' pressure.

As an Alabama fan I’m happy for Sark but the Tide is gonna keep rolling regardless. Nobody can keep Saban out of the state of Texas or any other state for that matter. These young high school athletes know that the University of Alabama is where they need to go if they want be on the big stage, if they want to win a National Title and give themselves the best opportunity for preparing for the NFL.

He’s a very talented offensive coordinator...but it’s not a good sign that, when he was asked about resources, he mentioned the donors before recruiting.

Texas isn't just football graduates almost win the business world, like Pluckers, Film, Television. Thats why even on bad years our name is still in the media. So have a successful college program you don't need a head coach who is particularly good at coaching. You need the slickest, slimiest used car salesman you can find who can SELL the University and the program to the kids. The coordinators and position coaches is where you need to be strong.

Sark personifies a used car salesman. The entire school at Texas does if we are being honest. Their AD and President told all those kids a week before signing day last month that Herman would be back and even had the AD calling kids to promise Herman would be back just so they’d sign with the school before they fired Herman. So yeah, Texas University personifies a used car salesman. And now they’ve got their gimmicky head coach with the nickname “4-loss Sark”.

I have a better idea. Separate the Bama squad in two. One squad with starters and 4th string,the other with 2nd and 3rd string. And put one squad as an Independent and keep the other in the SEC.

Texas has had 3 top 5 classes in a row, prior to this year. There is a ton of talent on this team. What we've lacked is player development.
