I don’t think we’ll ever have that type of power with cristobal as coach, he’s trying to build a different scheme as he is an oline guy. We need to be better in the trenches. And this year we the youngest team in the country, going to a lot more exciting next year. If we can get a good qb, whether it’s shough, Brown, or the 5 star freshman Ty Thompson, we will be a top 10 team again.
As great a recruiter that Christobal is, I’m starting to think he is not a good team coach. Terrible preparation, motivation, play calling. That QB shuffling was terrible.
Oregon isn’t built like that anymore and it’s a good thing too. About a decade ago Oregon looked good against other pac 12 teams but when they had to play the big guys they couldn’t hang because they just weren’t physical enough. Now with what Mario cristabol is bringing we can actually play against the upper sec teams and have a legit shot. For example the auburn game last year that we should have won. Our new playing style I believe gives us a better shot against the Ohio states, clemsons, etc. we just need to be patient as this is the youngest team in division 1 fbs football.

Even after the big 10 started playing, the Pac 12 didn’t budge for a few more weeks because of how pompous they are. They needed to be left out of bowl season and not get any of the money they almost cost the rest of college football.
