Took the 13th game for Texas to realize they're a good team
Kind of hard to do that when 20 starters are out halfway through the season. Texas literally didn't have the players to fill positions and had to convert players.
Alan Ewing @ That did play a part in the Longhorns troubles, but roster management is not the only problem in Austin. Some of the other conference teams have caught up or passed Texas, and There is still the issue of Oklahoma. I think Texas is very close to getting into the upper tier of teams again. Just do not read to much into the victory over Utah, they are a PAC 12 team! LoL 😂
And it took 14 games for OU to realize how bad they are.

Texas had a ridiculous amount of injuries this year. Texas was healthy for the first time since the begging on the season and they showed their true colors.
Yeah, when they were healthy they played LSU as well as anybody did all year. If they had played every game as well as they played LSU, that would have been their only loss or at worst they'd have gone 10-2.

This Texas team was within 7 points of LSU and Oklahoma. They were not consistent as defense was a problem, but no shame on any team losing to them. If their defense had shown up more this year they would had a stellar season.
