Some forgotten players are Mark Ingram, Eddie Jackson, Marlon Humphrey, Dee Milliner, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Trent Richardson, Terrence Cody, AJ McCaron, TJ Yeldon to name a few. I get it though since they can’t name everyone!

And it’s been modded on PC (and console but that’s more of a hassle to mod)
I once did a team with every Alabama player on the 2017 Madden. I was able to fill up just about every position and even have depth at a lot of positions. The teams overall rating was in the 80s and it was a very good team to play with. I think now that we've had some kickers drafted and some of those other positions that were missing, I believe you could fill up every position on the latest madden.
Ed Jackson should have been the safety. He was a dynamic return man too. Still a very good All-Star team.

Jackson wasn't that good in college
Marcell Dareus- Beast and TD at the end of the first half against Texas. Mount (Terrence) Cody great run stopper and blocked 2 field goals against Tennessee or no first championship.
Definitely tough leaving them out, especially Dareus

Steve Sarkisian had some really good playcalling in the game vs Ohio State.

Where Mark Barron and Landon Collins are. We're splitting hairs, but they were Nick Saban's best safeties. Kirkpatrick was his best corner (at least in College).

That defense would be crushed by 2020 Bama’s offense. The game has gone that direction.

@@rec30 yes they would. They would get crushed by any good offense today. Offenses evolved a lot since then. Way harder to stop. Almost every one now is running spread offenses with RPOs. Back in 2011 the average offense was lining up under center, with no offensive creativity. Wasn’t as hard to stop.
Plus, the second team is still scary with Trent Richardson, Jalen Hurts, etc!

Why do we have three safeties for the DB’s like where was Marlon Humphrey
Not a lot of scheme here, especially on defense. You have 1 corner and 3 safeties. You also have 4 inside linebackers and no pass rushers (no offense to the DL, they were all great and would do damage together) sabans defenses work because they are machines and use various pieces together. The three down lineman will get sacks but there job is to shut down the run and the outside backers get most of the pass rush. Occasional blitzes from inside backers and field side DBs. Saban hasn’t had a true LT great pass rushing outside backer but in practice they get the job done. Saban builds great team defenses. I’m saying this as an Auburn fan, trust me I know. I get it these are the “best” dudes but while that offense would work just fine (though I think there is a similar issue with the recievers with Smith and Cooper being very similar, probably better off with someone like ruggs with pure speed to get mismatches) but that defense wouldn’t work as well against top competition as a less talented better schemed unit.
Dude you don’t even have to do an all Tommy tuberville team. Just get the 2004 team and they could play against anyone. They were stacked

I agree Eddie should've been on the list, but if you're leaving out Landon Collins, your list is automatically invalidated. Landon Collins is the best DB that Saban has ever coached.

Only team to ever be comparable , though they had more then 1 coach would be if you put together an all 80's hurricanes or all 2000's hurricanes and again that was with multiple coaches. Ive always had tremendous respect for the tide because had Jimmy Johnson or Butch Davis chosen to stay and cement there dynasty & legacy at the "U" we would have been the only school in all the land capable of achieving the longevity at the mountain top that King Saban & Bama have. Unfortunately as much as it pains me to say. Week 1 of 2021 season the tide will curb stomp my Canes as another painful reminder of how far the gap between the 2 traditional powers is currently, and the massive work mt canes must commit to. GO CANES!!!!! RESPECT BAMA!!!!!
If you took the best players from any of the top teams they would match up with this team....LSU, USC, OSU, etc. Once you get to the second and third teams is where Bama would excel.

The only and I mean ONLY possible superteams that could compete with this one is LSU (mix of Ed O and Les Miles), Ohio State (Meyer), Clemson (Dabo) and maybe Oklahoma (Stoops, Riley).

Also, go back and actually watch AJ McCarron play. Maybe history and/or nostalgia has blurred your memories of AJ McCarron, but he wasn't as good as Tua. People like to bash Tua as a "system QB" and that the only reason why he was so good was because of his great receivers in the RPO system. Had AJ played in this system, Alabama likely isn't even in contention for a national championship. AJ was good at being a game manager, let's be real. He didn't have nearly the same arm talent as Tua, or even Mac Jones and watching him run or scramble with the football was like trying to watch a baby deer walk for the first time. He was good enough to keep a defense honest about blowing a coverage on a play action pass, but the offense never ran through him. The offense revolved around either Trent Richardson or Eddie Lacy - not AJ. Don't get it twisted, I like AJ as a player, but he wasn't as good as Tua, Jalen or Mac.

I never understand people who fault Nick Saban and say he’s overrated because he has the best players. Guys, recruiting is a huge aspect of college coaching, like, are you dumb?
Other coaches recruit like him yet they don’t seem to win or get players drafted like him. It’s a lot more than recruiting

Henry is a better running back and is proving it in the NFL. If he played in the offense this year he would have had better numbers than Najee did this year. Bama didn't really have a high powered throwing offense to open up the run for Henry and he still had those numbers.
Henry was the focal point of that offence though, it was before Bama really got going throwing the ball.

Mac doesn’t go through his progressions either lol. Watch him play. If the first read isn’t open he’s hit or miss. Of course though at Bama with all that talent and coaching the first read was almost always open this year. Interested to see how he does outside the safety of the Bama program because like Tua whenever he faced heat he made some head scratching plays. Even did it in the National championship when he fumbled the ball on a simple play that should have just been a sack. If you watch mac and really study him there are some flaws there that might get exposed in the nfl like there was with Tua.
