The biggest takeaway 🤔? That's simple. OSU could have played 20 games this season and they still would have lost to ALA by a blowout 😂😂.

I knew Bama was going to win when Saban had a smile at his half time interview.
I had to look out my window first to make sure pigs weren’t flying, but then I was like they’re gonna win.

Since Saban's been at Bama, they've averaged a National Championship every other year; that's not just playing for the title, that's winning it!
And "the Process" continues...

Biggest takeaways, Saban is GOAT and Smith deserved the Heisman x 10.

There is a very loud and clear message to be gained by Bama recruits and potential Bama recruits from this season. Davonte Smith, Najee Harris, Brian Robinson, Alex Leatherwood all stayed for their senior year and had great seasons and improved their draft status over last year. Landon Dickerson came to Bama for his senior season and won the Rimington and certainly improved his draft status.
Davonte smith and Najee Harris will be drafted a full round higher than had they come out last year!
The point is clear. Top players at Bama will now be more likely to stay an extra year and take advantage of the great coaching, facilities and conditioning to try and get better. This bodes well for Bama in the future.
Amazing that not one of these experts even mentioned this.

GOOD JOB CHAMP ALABAMA

Saban recruiting classes at Alabama (2007-2017): 1 class (2009) won 3 NCs. The rest won 2 NCs except 2013 class, which only won 1.

Ohio State was somewhat depleted, but so was Bama, both teams played their hearts out and should be commended. Alabama was the better team and won going away.

About the injury situation, it went both ways. Bama had five mainstays out for the championship game and Ohio State had a few, but the injury thing was nearly even. I am fond of lots of Ohio folk so I'll shut up.

Bama was 13-0. They are supppsed to be a sports new channel.

To all those people who argued that blowouts are the reason the playoff shouldn't expand your argument is now irrelevant. Why? Because we just had a national championship that was a huge blowout. So what does it matter anymore? Just expand the playoff already.

Never learn anything from those talking heads that keep talking about the same few programs. Stopped watching after 0:47 seconds following boring Q. Who cares? Once again, Media and casual fans (stop blaming the NCAA bc journos tell you to so) - or fans of teams that are simply not good enough and might get lucky in a one-off setting - will be pushing for more “access”. Past 20 years or so, only one to three programs have deserved to play an extra game or two. Simply above the others. One year, a while back, there were 4-5 mediocre teams in the BCS era. Thing is, give those Media their 8-school playoff (hello mediocrity- already happening in one SF every year), NIL (in addition to ton of privileges) so we, CFB lovers, can enjoy the GAMES once again.
