not much... but this conversation does speak to how fiscal football is and not playing 8-10 games gives Ohio State the edge . Yes, Ohio States QB is a little banged up but the rest of Ohio State has fresh legs ... Ohio State might be the best team in the land but in my humble opinion they did not play enough games to be in the playoffs to play for a national Championship... I do believe this Game will be a fun game to watch with Alabama... at this point it is water under the bridge.... We have two great teams playing and that is really all that matters...

The edge i give alabama and why they will win is because alabama defense been playing the toughest offense all season in practice which is themselves and the only team that can sort of mirror that is Ohio state and so i think they will be ready and prepared
Same could be said about Ohio state man. There offense is elite to with weapons all over. It will be a great match but I got Ohio st winning 35 to 24 with a close first half. One big turnover will make the difference.

Gotta think too we played Florida which there offense has many more weapons and play makers, uga offense wasn't great this year but that Defense was on point like always and we ran the cards on that D so I don't osu has a chance but ESPN has to talk it up for more people to watch kinda like when Floyd fights, we all know floyd gonna win but they talk it up a good bit.
It's such a disaster that this pandemic caused so much. But these are the times we live in. The impact it had on sports was huge. I'm glad we even had a season. I see a lot of folks upset about Ohio State only playing six games. I still think they are one of the best teams out there despite that. I get that TAMU deserved a shot and they did. Several other teams did too. The playoffs need work. As for Ohio State they never seem to get a break. They just keep getting pounded and pounded by the critics. They finally beat Clemson and fans say well it's because they had fresher legs. Ohio State fought through adversity too. Everyone else saying how the other teams went to war by playing 11 or 12 games. Well Ohio State was at war too. It's not like adversity picks and choose who it wants to go after. They deserve a bit of credibility.

Jones is not near as mobile as Lawrence and they hammered him, Jones is going to be the one going to get hit. If they stop Harris, Jones taking a beating. Saban of course is going to emphasize the run to slow down pass rush and to try and keep Fields and company on the sideline.
Mobile QBs almost always take more sacks and hits than pocket passers. Bama has held up really well against the best pass rushing teams because they use a lot of play action and max protection. Jones has pretty good pocket awareness, too, and the receivers get open. On top of that their OL might the the best in the country, certainly better than Clemson, even without the starting Center. Ohio State hammered Lawrence because they built a lead and took away the running/play action game.
Clemson offense of line is different from Alabama offense of line which Alabama has a better offense of line

That cheap shot Nolan Turner made in garbage time against NDs Te Michael Mayer hurt Clemson in the first half & Sculski really hurt Clemson with that spear on Fields. Kharma for a team that likes to play dirty. That Clemson defense is not the same without those 2 players. Credit to Ohio St for attacking across the middle in the first half. They took full advantage of Turner being out. Great Coaching for Ohio St. Skulski deserved to watch his team get torched. He is a dirty player.
I'm just hoping and praying OSU can win this game. It would mean a lot if the beat CLEM and ALA in back to back games.

Fields can throw lobs pass safeties would can't run a 40 in 15 seconds, but he can't throw lobs passed the best secondary in all of college football. Than when you switch sides of the field Sean Wade can only get away with pass interfaces, and he will have to guard DeVanta Smith. 4 touchdowns for DeVonta Smith and the double will allow Najee and some of the other threats to get open. Not to mention Jaylen Waddle is back too. 42-17 in Alabama's favor. I also am a Penn State fan so I have no bias what so ever. Thus Ohio State has no chance.
Dabo should be investigated for that hit. That was obviously coached. If it can be established that Dabo coached that player to take out players, Dabo should be barred from college football. Just a disgusting individual who has no place in college or high school sports.

Dude have you see any of alabama games this season. They have running game too. Their offense is well balanced. Najee Harris is the nation best running back.

Najee Harris is not getting held to 32 rushing yards and Alabama's offensive line is light years ahead of Clemson's. Even IF Clemson manages to stop the run game then Najee will find a way to get yards by catching passes and going crazy downfield. Also, Bama has 3 Heisman contenders on offense, a better O-Line, the best offensive coordinator in CFB, a better receiving core, better tight ends, better pass block, better run block, better head coach and a different offensive system. Alabama is NOT Clemson. The only similarities between those two programs is winning games and being dominant. They're extremely different when it comes to coaching, scheming, game planning, etc
