I don't know why YA'LL keep listening to these ESPN talking heads, TCU is a REAL team this season, give these young men their RESPECT! This is coming from a Alabama born and raised Crimson Tide fan. TCU is the real deal ESPN needs to stop it with the narrative. I hate it that ESPN controls the CFP!

Texas is tough at home, but as a Utah fan I remember TCU from the Mountain West days. Home field advantage isn’t really a thing against TCU.

I don’t understand how TCU was an underdog, they play well. Strong offense that clicks decently well every game. A very great defense that has made crucial stops when they need to.

How are they not gonna include the recovered fumble for a TD from Texas?????

TCU is legit…they beat a good texas team, in their house, and deserve their ranking….they deserve to be in that top 4 spot….

Respect to TCU they did its thing! But man i hate to admit it i thought Quinn was THAT guy at the beginning of the season, but im starting to change my mind. Primetime game and he was no where to be found, overthrowing passes, showed no heart. Same thing vs the okst game. And idk if its me but like he seems so lazy at center, he never puts any heat in his throws just lobs them, like cmon give your wrs a chance to make a play. Defense did its thing, but this was on Quinn and Sark, and embarrassing in front of all those recruits they brought.

Love seeing TCU get some love... great to see teams that aren't the old staple every year getting into that top 5 positions for the final run... hopefully they can keep the intensity... Ewers looks rattled and he's going to get really tested next year with Manning coming in. I think this year may be his final showing. Could be a backup next year.

I'm always torn when these two play each other! I'm a big Longhorns fan but I grew up in Ft Worth,TX so I always want TCU to succeed I hope they stay winning and make the playoffs!

Not a Texas or TCU fan. I only watched this game because it was the most interesting in the time slot. That being said, I really enjoyed the game. The defenses were electric and fun to watch. The announcers kept talking about how the Texas Quarterback had a lot of talent, but I honestly thought he was the worst part of the game. He made bad decisions and bad throws. Texas you guys need to ditch him. You have a great defense though and congrats to TCU for the upset. Overall entertaining game

I am confused on how Baylor, Kansas St, Iowa St, and TCU all played above their capabilities with less star players than Texas. Texas gets the high-profile coaches and assistants but under perform all the time. This game was case in point.

Texas was racking them up all game, the run game was nom existent in this one. TCU is good.

There could be a punting highlight video made from this game. Texas was like well we didn't catch any passes the first half and didn't get any first first downs. Let's not run the ball for 4 plays and trust our defense... The last play of the first half when they were dazed and confused if they wanted to try and score or not told me all I needed to know for how the game would go

defense showed out so much tonight that they were the only ones to score a touchdown. offense was straight trash, dropped passes, under thrown and over thrown passes, no blocking up front, so many mistakes overall

Ewers shoulda been patient and stayed in Columbus. He coulda been passed the keys next year with Harrison Jr (WR), Henderson (RB), Ballard (WR), Gee Scott Jr (TE) and have Ryan Day to develop and play call. Heisman woulda been his as long as he could stay healthy, and beat out McCord.

Hot take I am kind of mad a sark because his job is to develop guys and I don't feel like he has done that , he has literally let ewers play go down and down and nothing seems to be getting better not just that, I feel like he doesn't use any of our other players who are also skill full . Sark isn’t “that guy”. Big programs win their home games, period.
Texas is the biggest underperforming program in the country going back many many years. At the very least they should be as consistent as Ohio State or Oklahoma. Those schools don’t win the Natty every season but they average 10 wins a season and are in the conversation.

Anyways, TCU is a good team, and they deserve this ranking. Why? Because they are undefeated. All of you Tennessee fans think that you guys should be ranked higher because you have better wins. I agree that Alabama is a quality win, but Bama is clearly not Bama. Without Bryce young they are worse than they are right now. Y’all barely beat them at home. I’m not trying to take away anything from Tennessee, it was a great game and a great win, but that one win shouldn’t make you better than TCU. You beat LSU when half of their offense was injured, Florida and Pitt who are garbage, Kentucky who’s not that great, and got manhandled by Georgia and beat a bunch of cupcakes. TCU has played 5 ranked teams, with a stretch of 4 in a row. Now, some of those teams are better than others (see Kansas state) but all of them were ranked at the time. If you go 13-0 and you win your conference you deserve a playoff spot. Period. That’s why OU got in so many times. I agree, if TCU makes the playoff, they will be the weakest team. But, that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve it. All of you are saying they’ll get stomped, and they might. But no stompage will be worse than 2019 LSU vs OU. Again, I’m not trying to downplay Tennessee, I like the Vols. They’re a great team. I love Hendon Hooker, I think he’ll be a headman finalist for sure and he’ll probably win it too. But if you go 13-0 in a power 5 conference and you win your conference, you deserve a playoff spot, period.

Ewers is average at best. Hopefully Manning can turn the Longhorns into a championship team sark doesn't seem to know when to pull ewers out and see if card can do better . Hopefully they can get it together next year

But this rant isn’t about them, it’s about Sark.
Sark will have one more season before he needs to go, he has zero excuses for next year and I expect no more than a 2 loss year. Every game this year we have lost have been from us beating ourselves, giving games away, not being able to play call or make any adjustments whatsoever. And penalties have just been ridiculous.
Not only that but Quinn has about lost all respect out of every longhorn fan, he looks like he doesn’t care to try, his throws are sloppy and rushed, feet aren’t set, he doesn’t read defenses whatsoever, can’t develop on the deep ball, and this is all from a QB who’s HC was a QB and specializes in QB development… and I know he is a freshman and he was hurt blah blah blah I’m tired of the excuses, there are plenty and I mean plenty of examples of QB’s in the same boat this year that are preforming way better and are getting better as the year continues, Quinn, seems the opposite.
If they clean up all this, and we were to back track in time to this season, we’d be undefeated, we have literately shot ourselves in the foot every game even one’s we’ve squeaked out wins in. So next year, Quinn will be a sophomore, sark will have his third year as HC, all the younger players will have more connection and be more confident, and they have zero excuses.
And for the defense, y’all absolutely smashed it, yes some broken up plays happens blah blah that tends to happen when your offense throws you on the field 24/7. But y’all were making TCU look stupid for a while, TCU linemen were sacking their own quarterback, dudes weren’t open, negative plays like crazy. Hats off to the D.

This could’ve been an easy win for texas it’s kind of strange how simple play calling could’ve easily gotten us the win. On top of putting Hudson card in, if Ewers isn’t meeting simple requirements. Waste of talent and season. New head coach is gonna be needed for the amount he gets paid.
