McGregor has been seeingTony Robbins on a one on one and is now his personal life coach. He was in the Octagon at the end. Robbins does amazing things to get athletes and people back on track and become successful in life.
I feel the calmer McGregor is far more threatening, though. His boisterous persona was to sell his name, star appeal, but also to shake his opponents pre fight. To see a McGregor who is confident enough to forgo that tactic and let his confidence in winning lie solely in his fighting condition . @@thatdude3977 yeah I am sure he is terrified of a 35 year old with 13 losses. I like Masvidal, he is a game fighter, but he has tricked the world into thinking he is something he isn't with 3 wins against an up-and-comer in Till, a non-ufc fighter in Askren and the eternal journeyman in Diaz.
In comparison McGregor has beaten guys like Max Holloway, Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez. All having better records and more accomplishments than Masvidal or any of the guys he has beat.
The fact that Masvidal weighs a lot more is the only thing making that fight semi-interesting.

McGregor continued his antics after the loss. If kabob "humbled" him, he wouldn't have been caught up in so much funny business. McGregor humbled himself after hitting rock bottom. His team and family probably helped him as well.

This is the humble connor that I missed.
First time he fought nate he was overly cocky and paid the price for it. He came back a humbled man. Cool, calm and collected he got the job done right. There was alot of bad blood in the air during the khabib press confrence and I remember having a bad feeling about the fight. That perhaps he has lost his touch again..
Now I can see he is humbled after that big loss to khabib and focused which is really good for the future I hope he stays at 170 for a while at least, I feel theres alot more coming down the pipeline for us soon. A hungry connor is a dangerous one
