That’s never going to happen. I’m not black I’m Hispanic, Cuban and I came here at 2 years old 40 years ago so I was basically raised here in the US and I’ve worked for a Union fire sprinkler company years ago where I got my own share of name calling from the racist white people that worked with me. Easier said than done. SAS needs to stick to sports. Say you arrest the cop on Monday the day this happened. Then through the course of the investigation/autopsy. The Autopsy shows he died of unrelated causes of the incident. And then he’s released from custody. The entire state of Minnesota would be burned to the ground. People don’t get it. You have to conduct a thorough investigation before filling chargers. Thorough takes time. Rushing to charge someone and screwing up royally,can lead to mistrials/ acquittals. I agree that anyone being mistreated by police should be angry with the system. It shows anger, frustration and that were pissed off. Yet none of those places or people had anything to do with what that garbage officer did, which he should be punished to the max for. He gives police a very bad name when many are not like that. All officers, store owners and all of us across America as citizens are in agreement across the board, what that cop did was WRONG and he should be punished, that is unity not division. Yet for the love of God, come together as a people and fight together, we are one people, stop the divide and narratives. Please stop taking it out on stores, citizens and our cities. Martin Luther King Jr always taught. Violence brings more violence. Hate brings more hate and love brings more love. Love God, love people, love you all. We all stand with you for justice and peace, not destroying everything! Build up dont tear down, we will reap what we sow! Come together and please stop dividing ourselves from the acts of a few awful people!

William Taute you know what? I was guilty of thinking that Colin K. was overreacting. I’ll admit, I’m a white man who thought Colin K. was overreacting. I didn’t believe (perhaps I didn’t WANT to believe) that things had gotten as bad as they have. I’ll also admit that it’s probably ALWAYS been this bad and now we see it more due to social media and everyone having a camera on their phone. I wish it hadn’t taken this murder to make me see it. It can no longer be just black folks that are outraged. I’m standing up and saying I was wrong. 100% wrong for not accepting that these things are actually happening. I still believe that not ALL cops are bad. Just like every element of society, every group has some evil people. But it should NEVER be ok that a group of society in power abuse that power over people they swore to protect and uphold the constitution for. Cops put their hand on Gods word and swear to uphold the constitution for all men. It shouldn’t apply to only those men that look like me. I don’t know how we fix this my friend but I can tell you one thing. Those in power want us to hate each other. They know we are easier to conquer if we are divided. I know that this anger and this hurt that I feel is nothing compared to how it feels for folks in the Black community, but I do feel it. And I don’t know what I can do with those feelings. It makes me feel helpless. I see it now and I’m ashamed it took this to finally wake me up.
