I actually think Luka will be the next torch bearer of the league. It won’t be Giannis, it won’t be Zion. When you look at the talent this kid has and the analytics he has what it takes to be on that level of DOC, Bird, Magic, Jordan, Kobe, LeBron. He has that talent.

Ja taking grizzles to playoffs looking like a young Drose preinjury and looking better than trae/luka did in rookie year, the future is bright for all of them and you can't go wrong by building a team around anyone of them but nothing is for certain until they prove it in the playoffs

@@Rosepapi Trae does make his teammates better the same way Luka does. He makes far more space with his shooting and he sets them up with great passes (especially thos lob finishes). The clear difference between the two is experience and their team. Luka has a better coach and squad than Trae. Of Trae had a competent system, he would be making the playoffs easily.

Luka is extremely physical and beat up on a nightly basis. He gets foul calls because he's smart and very physical in the paint.
Ryan Ripple I feel like Luka’s signature in the paint against bigs is something only a few people see and is one of his main talents, he see’s the big in the paint then he increases his speed by a lot then stop right in front of the big right before he can block and makes the lay, he makes this look so simple

I think if we had Powell and Brunson back from injuries, we would be in a much better shape to make a surprise run. Powell and Luka had the most efficient pick and roll in the league until he got hurt, and Brunson was a serviceable backup. Our rotation has been huge this year, and any kinks in that armour could allow a team like the Clippers to hold us off. Who knows tho, Luka and KP have the capacity to just go off!

For Doncic to become really great, he has to lower his usage to allow another star to maximize his talents for the Mavs to win in the Playoffs. The Mavs don't have the overall talent as a most teams which is why they need one more ball mover to make their team better. You will then see Porzingis excel as well.

LeBron is one of the best passers the game has ever seen and has one of the highest IQs. He's also a great scorer all around and a skilled defender when he wants to be. Giannis might not be a good shooter but he's a great ball handler and a good passer with incredible defensive versatility and awareness.

Most improved player should be given to players who been in the league for atleast 3 years. He was bound to improve so it kind of doesn’t make sense to give it to him. Tons of other players deserve consideration.

Honestly when I look at the Mavs roster, I really like them they got hustle defense role players, 3 point shooting spreading the court (looking at you seth curry, tim hardaway jr, finney smith, and dont sleep on kleber), and 2 stars in kp and doncic.
Its funny that no one on espn is really talking about them much, cause imo I think dallas can beat anyone in the west in a series outside of the clippers. The clippers have multiple guys to shut down luka, and the mavs live and run by luka as talked about in this video. We saw the matchups during the season as well, the clippers put the clamp down on luka.
But Espn favors the lakers, if u watch the mavs vs lakers games I would favor the mavs, lakers would have lost one of them i remember outside of a obvious grab by dwight howard so that danny green could get a 3 to TIE the game to send it into OT.
