They need to fire those sound engineers already!
Kerrick Moses that what I was thinking. The audio is horrible here.
They back there like: 🥱😴🤤😴
Big facts
Bruh I reset my whole set up cause I thought the noise was my tv. I just felt like I was back in the 90s with that buzzing noise
It's not the engineers. It's SAS microphone battery most likely. I mean we're still watching them at home.
tf is that noise

This audio had me thinking my computers sounds system was screwed up. Come on now, ESPN, be better than that lmao

Stephen A needs his mic turned down anyway 😂
Orlovski's point was invalidated by the Dolphins bringing Cutler off the couch, out of retirement and signing him for $16M
FACTSSSSS
Idk why orlovski is even on this show anymore his takes are terrible
Maybe that is why the Patriots have been to 5 straight while the Dolphins fight for a chance.
Kevin Jon no that’s not the reason because Brady wasn’t making 1 million a year.. his point was the dolphins signed a QB that was a commentator the year prior and signed for 16 mil cam played last year but got hurt but still was playing and only signed for 1 mil.. if the patriots starting QBs was making 1 mil a year all those playoff years I would have a point but no Brady was making the same amount of money as the dolphins starting QBs during those same years

That's why they'll never win Superbowls (Cardinals, Vikings).
Nic Foles🤔😂😂

🤔
james harm your point? He was injured from his first season on and received big contracts after rookie deal
Cam didn't have to sign that contract if he didn't want to
Am I the only one who realizes this?
I realize it to. If he stays uninjured this year he'll get a big fat contract next year.
So Can has choice join a garage team as a back up for little more money .....or sign for less and maybe start with the Pats
@Terrance Lamont The deal seems perfect to me. He has the chance to earn his money and prove he can stay healthy and play at a high level on a 1 year tryout. If he does, he earns 7M and likely gets a big contract playing for the Greatest coach of all time. If he can't stay healthy or perform, it protects the Pats from blowing millions on a dud while still allowing Cam to prove himself.
He made the choice right???
You say that as if getting bashed by the media whenever they bring up his name won't diminish his value in the eyes of a g.m. just from a p.r. standpoint alone.
Cam signed a contract to prove his come back is serious comparing one player to another is a stupid ideology because they’re different players as well as complete different characteristics Cam knows this is a redemption period....he will earn his worth like everyone else has had to do in the NFL
Can you name another qb who took a 90% pay cut to prove his worth besides jamies winston
stephanie win does that matter when even Cam said it wasnt about money it was about proving himself?! 🤦🏽♂️ everybody isnt financially crippled Cam aint BROKE he just wants to play the sport he loves and this is a redemption period for him point blank period
@@HemiHendrixx people just dont get it. Cam realize that if he dont do good in New England its curtains for him as a #1 qb. And my team is the best place for him to move to the starting spot
Retro Da Vinci exaaccttlly we as ppl need to stay out of THEIR pockets Cam signed that contract which clearly means its REDEMPTION not FINANCIAL!! also shows he’s okay with the stipulation just let me play n prove the NFL made a mistake to begin with....only player I feel got played this year is Dak P.
Sherman is Right. Cam is waayy Underpaid.
@Domo Jones what you taking about?
Seriously?!! Your nuts
Most people have taken a pay cut to go to N.E. He gets a chance to win, promote his skill and learn. Then like Max said sign a big deal after this year.
Oh, he gets the privilege of playing for the Patriots! That is such a blessing he should be willing to play for free. 😒
Agreed with both.. gonna make everyone look stupid.. but that's the Patriots.. I really hope they somehow run the AFC even with mahommes and Jackson.. they still need to get cam a big target ..watch someone big will get cut.. and another big player.. hopefully a rec goes to NE.. sounds silly.. and just a thought . But watch aj green.. I know burrow got there I know he's a big target.. but if they don't feel he can't contribute.. with his contract.. and injury history... They wouldn't cut him.. and he go and sign some incentive type contract... Guys will take less especially being older to win.. and to play with cam.. if max sells cam.. if not him.. someone else. But just a thought
@@audiobackdrops18 It is a low salary. I just wonder how many other ones he had. My post was just to think of why he took it. Why do you think he did?
donlee37 I think he took it because both he and Belicheck have something to prove to their critics. I think that’s what made the difference. Belicheck needs to prove he can win without Brady and Cam needs to prove he’s not a has been. No other team/coach had the same motivation. That said, pay the man!
mike derocco Just because he can run doesn’t automatically mean he can’t throw. Have your ever heard of the term “dual threat”? He has already proven he can throw the ball but you can’t seem to acknowledge that he is good at both.
Cam joined a championship team. He wants that ring even if he is not getting the money he deserves
I don’t remember when he was actually released, but I was shocked that the Bears didn’t try and sign him. For once, the demand for decent starting QB’s is very low
I’m sure the bears would have loved to pick him up. However the panthers screwed him with when he was released and Foles was already signed.
They probably trying to give Nick Foles or Mitch Trubisky a chance cuz if they got Cam, he'll immediately will start
Bears don’t want a black franchise QB
@@l.thomas1762 I am glad you said it before I did.

The NFL failed Cam along time ago.
They did bruh they have been trying to black ball Cam Newton since he was in college at Auburn told him he couldn't do what he did which he won Heisman, where he won a National Championship, when he came into the the league they said he isn't a QB just a glorified RB and he won ROTY and broke passing and rushing records then won MVP he still young and I'm glad BB gave him a chance because they were really trynna keep this great talent out the NFL
@@ogb.i.g.g.i.e6057 how is that blackballing? Blackballing is not giving him a job. You could say he was possibly getting blackballed this offseason, okay. I could get that. But when he first got into the league? No. Cam had people critique his game, and shattered expectations. Their were people who criticized Brady. You know. 6th round pick. Was he blackballed because he didnt have elite arm strength and all that? Critique isnt the NFL blackballing people.

You say that because you don’t make millions so you have not a clue what that’s like. That said this was a salary cap issue to me with the Pats but them being able to land him in the first place is crazy unless he wanted to play for them over other teams. I think it’s the best fit though
Dominic Faison no I don’t have a clue what that’s like, I work year round and have 4 months a year where I work about 50-60 hours on average and make a measly 60k. I have no idea what it’s like to play a game that I love, and make mils doing it, but I wish I did. Regardless, the whole notion that guys aren’t getting what they deserve is really annoying when you’re talking mils to play a game, most people would do anything to be in that position even with all the sacrifices of putting your body on the line, dedicated workout regimen, diet, etc. we just don’t have the physical capabilities of doing so which is why these guys are paid the way they are. I’m not saying they shouldn’t be paid well, I think athletes should make good money, but when people start talking mils and that some people making those mils are underpaid, come on man
imagine a UFC fighter watching this seein someone complaining about getting 15 mil a year
Imagine writing this comment.
It's two major sport leagues. It's fair play to compare the two. Obviously you need to take into account the money that is earned. The facts are UFC fighters make about 15% - 20% of the total revenue. NFL players are over 50%.

Frankie Palmisano so how did he make it to the Super Bowl, without having any leadership qualities? Did they not have adversity during that season? I’d love to know your theory on that
paul fryburg Cam was by far the most important person on the team that year, so much so that his peers voted him the MVP. Being a frustrated after a defeat, isn’t an indictment of someone’s leadership. Everyone loses their temper

@Terrance Lamont Winston is not a QB he is a bakery chef making his favorite dessert turnovers so stop making this a racial thing
I call BS on Max and Dan. Peyton Manning signed a 5 year $96 million contract with 58 guaranteed after he had neck surgery and missed a whole year. And didn't know if he could even throw a football. Cam should've gotten at least $15 million guaranteed
I'm a Brady fan so I always routed against any Manning. Peyton won a SB while Cam has zero. One is porven while the other is not.
At what point in cam’s career was he every on Peytons level? Never.
There wasn’t a question of IF Manning could throw again, it was WHEN. Manning had a nerve issue that he was coming off, at the time of his deal. Manning was also thought to be one of the top two QBs in the league over the past 5 years. I love Cam, but I’m not comparing him to Peyton.
- Cam has multiple injuries he’s trying to return from
- He hasn’t been healthy for two seasons
- His FA began during peak COVID where he hasn’t been able to get a physical or display he’s healthy without setbacks
- And there weren’t plenty of teams with an open Starting QB position.
Carolina put him in a shitty position and he didn’t have much leverage. That’s the nature of negotiations.
But if it was that bad of a deal, Cam would have never touched it. Cam knows if he manages this season well, he’ll far exceed the deal Tannehill just signed.
These guys on here speaking about Payton Manning like he was some great champion. LoL
Not comparing the hr qbs it’s a thought process . lol that would be called an experiment . So it can be compared at a lower level of comparo . So a double digit contract due to his resume and potential is appropriate . The 1 year deal is the buffer and adv, of the Franchize .

Hes good with confidence as a leader on the field , but he never seemed like that good of a talker with the media. Nothing wrong with that but guys like Russell Wilson , Mahomes, Lamar, Brady most elite guys i can think of, are better with the media.
People are holding or judging Cam first couple of seasons against him. If anyone watched or followed the Panthers know that Cam matured in talking with the media. People talk about his leadership skills or being a leader. No player has ever publicly or behind the scenes have questioned him as a leader in the locker room or on the field. Aaron rodgers didn't miss the whole season, and went to playoffs too last season. not even a close comparison.
This is a wealth gap issue
@@MGalaxy23 I'm talking about in 2018.
@@michellediaferio1513 cam played his cards wrong. you'd have a point if had simply sat out 2018 but he came back in 2019 saying he was 100% healthy and proceeded to play terribly and sit out the rest of 2019. it doesn't help that he got released weeks after the start of fA
Lol. He’s the one that agreed to the deal. 🤣
Jamies Winston 1st in passing yards 2nd in passing TD’s, the year before Bucs lead the league in passing offenses.
They always manage to leave out FACTS
But, as everyone knows, he’s a backup in N.O. You can’t take a salary cap hit on a back up when you are already threading the line in cap space
Frankie Palmisano he should be starting somewhere
Winston is washed.
1 st in interceptions!😂😂😂
I’m glad I ain’t the only one with the sound thing
ESPN messing up maaaan , that noise 🤦🏾
Old TV recording 🤣🤣🤣 upgrade plz lol
Jimmy G did not accomplish anything but got a monster contract, and so does most of the white QB. When you’re black you need to be perfect or else they throw you around like a dummy...
jimmy g is garbage
Facts
True story .. I hope he goes in this year
Look at Dak’s play vs Jimmy G’s nobody ever fixes their mouth to talk bad on Jimmy even tho he’s not that great they act like he deserved that deal lmao
Don’t get me wrong, Drew and Aaron deserves their money... although Drew is a hidden racist ... he’s a great qb!
There’s nothing wrong with the contract only one team was willing to pay him that was a successful organization. Supply vs demand bafoons. Come on now.
Lil Chappa try tellin that to a blacc person 🤦♂️
Solemon Kamali try tellin that to yo momma
@Rat Dusty mvp thats a stretch
I was reading the thumbnail, saying "Stephen A. reacts to Richard Sherman calling the size of Cam Newton's..." before the, ahem, cut-off.
Cam was hit in Carolina because he didn’t have a line to protect him. Now that he’s in New England he has an O line that protects, Tom Brady almost never got hit. He’s going to be fire 🔥 this year
Can before he missed this season in 2017-2018 made it to the playoffs so I know he can play still and why is chase Daniels getting a lot of money for tf
Pretty sure chase Daniels is making around 4mil a year. If Cam can stay healthy and play well his contract is worth up to around 7mil for the year. The Patriots have no cap space this year. I don’t really see a problem. I think Cam took less money because he wants the chance to play in New England and win.
@simon cohen Really? What kind of slide ruler are you grading with.
