It's kinda pretty sad how sports media is only talking about how poorly the Cowboys played and not about how well the Bears played. Mitch Trubisky played like a quarterback that got drafted 2nd overall. He had a couple of bad throws in the first half but other then that he had an amazing game.

Jerry wants Coaches that he can control...he needs to get out of the way. Micro-management is destroying Dallas.
1. Hire an experienced successful HC w/a real Identity. Hire Urban Meyer. Hire Ron Riveria as DC. Possibly keep Moore as OC. Keep Richard as DB Coach.
2. Start Jarwin...bench Witten. Play Devin Smith over Tavon Austin.
3. Play Zeke & Pollard simultaneously. Zeke running inside w/Pollard on Drag routes, Swing routes & Outside Screens.
4. Draft a Safety in 1st Round. Get 2 Run-Stopper DTs.
5. Need more Creativity on Offensive Play Design.
6. Get a more accurate Kicker.

The Cowboys were 10-6 last season and they say Garrett is a bad coach so New England fans can thank their lucky stars he was the coach last season because with they had a good coach they probably would of won the superbowl last season.

Part of the issue with the Cowboys is that there is no mid-level management. This situation is no different than any other business. Jerry Jones wants to micro-manage every aspect of this team. Micro-management happens because 1 of 2 things (possibly both)- A: Jerry Jones is a control freak or B: Jerry Jones has a lack of faith in his management to make the right decisions in and off season. There is no balance of “powers” and influence in this team. Until they fix this; sorry folks, no Super Bowl. It-wont-work. Every other team has a CEO/Vice President/Team Manager/then Head Coach.

Once again there is visual evidence that Dak ain’t Dik. I sat there listening how good are Dak’s stats. 30% of Dak’s yardage stats are at garbage time when defenses are playing soft. Riddick strongly defends Dak. It makes sense considering a ninth round pick bestowing a fourth round pick with accolades. Riddick was a running back whose focus is purely on stats. He was never able to establish himself as winner on multiple teams whether it was on the field or in the front office. There is no other reason other than being a professional football player for anyone to pay mind to what he says. As for Steven A. He sees that Dak must shoulder part of the blame for the Cowboy’s dismal season, but his defense of Jerry Jones is ludicrous. The only thing he blames Jerry Jones for is not firing Garrett. He neglects the fact that Jones makes all the final decisions whether it be drafting players, hiring coaches and paying salaries. They all said things will be different when Garrett is gone. What quality coach in their right mind would want to coach for Jerry Jones. All the coaches that won Super Bowls with the Cowboys left because they couldn’t function effectively once Jerry got actively involved.

The Cowboys won last night. Jerry wins every game profit-wise and that's what counts the most.

Garrett missed those field goals and kicked the ball OB. Garrett threw the ball short and into coverage. Garrett ran a wheel route and didn't even look for the ball. Garrett missed all those tackles. He did all of that. Whatever. This team has no leader. That you can blame Garrett for. They keep talking about talent. Talent and execution don't always go hand and hand. Just because you have talent doesn't mean that you execute plays 100% of the time. Garrett isn't the one under center. I thought Garrett should have been fired years ago, but you can't blame all of this on his shoulders.

Cowboys would have to play either 49ers or Seahawks in wildcard round. Anyone really believing their gonna win that game?

Jason Garrett is obviously a problem due to his lack of creativity on offense and a failure to make adjustments at half time. But, Jerry Jones put him as heads coach because Jones knows nothing about football. He probably thought he could save a few million dollars a year and get the same result, yet he still throws millions more away each year with his bargain draft choices of guys with serious off the field issues and players that are too easily proned to injury. How many games have Cowboy players been suspended for in the past ten years alone, and how does it match up to the other teams in the league?
