MJ is the greatest basketball player right, but, is LeBron the greatest nba player we’ve ever seen? Not just on the court skills taken into account, but like his off the court clean record, the public figure he turns into whenever this country goes through tragedies, the father figure he is to his sons who are in the public eye, like he’s such an ambassador for the league I would actually rather have a franchise with LeBron as the face. I get MJ may get you more rings but LeBron might generate more value for not only a franchise but the league as a whole. Idk just a thought

@@singingchef23 only problem I have calling big men the best players is they lack certain skills that THE BEST would have. Like you can't give Kareem or shaq the ball with no timeouts left and ask them to drive the length of the court and make a play, you can't give them the ball if you're down 3 with the last shot, For the most part someone always has to get them the ball in their spots. That and not being able to guard the opposing teams best player on the perimeter. He's high on my all time list though, top 7 at least, maybe even top 5 if I really thought about it

Not going to harp on his finals record cause that’s a team thing. Although, I cannot deny the fact as a self admitted huge LeBron fan, think he’s been the best in the nba from late 2007-now, that he cannot close-out opponents the same way MJ did. I know I know, he’s hit more GW or whatever the stat is but that’s due to longevity. I’m talking about 4th quarter, 5 min left down or tied, MJ would just score score score and close out opponents, majority of the time without a game winner, just pull away. As great of a FT shooter as he was, you literally couldn’t do a thing about it but hopped he missed. LeBron won’t constantly attack the rim and I really do think it’s because of his ft shooting which is his ONLY weakness

LeBron is the best I've ever seen since MJ left the Bulls, and I love watching LeBron doing what hes doing at this stage of his career, but let's be real.....he will never be considered greater than Jordan by the majority of basketball fans. He is the single most dominant player on both ends of the court the game has ever seen, he was the greatest the game has seen in clutch situations with titles on the line, he was the best scorer etc. Lebron is a King, MJ is a demi-god.
