I'm a lifelong Bears fan as I told my sons & people in the office today. The media (Local & National) can make a person look like the worst player in the world. Mitchell Trubisky was in the Pro Bowl last year with both Pat Mahomes & DeShaun Watson, yet because their offensive line has sucked at both run & pass blocking, we LEAD the NFL in pass drops every one wants to blame Mitch. When he plays good against a "bad" team people say "well it was the Lions", he plays good against the Cowboys & the narrative is "How could the Cowboys make Mitch Trubisky look good?" Mitch can't worry about what those other 2 QB's do! He just needs to play his game, Nagy needs to stop forcing him into doing only what he wants, play to his strengths! In everyone of Mitch's best game's he's rolling out, making quick decision's & playing with a rhythm. In his 1st year in a NEW system last year he threw for over 3,200 yards last year, 24TD's to 12 Int's & ran for over 400 yard's with 3 rushing TD's. Someone explain to me how that makes him a bust!! BEAR DOWN!!!!!

Jerome Marshall , KC and the Texans had better offenses when they added their youth QBs. Duh of course they will look better.Bears are still rebuilding their offense. New or backups at running backs, receivers, tight end and the line. Last week about half of the offense was not the starters from the first game of the season.

I think he can be consistent. This was a great defense we played and Green Bay’s defense isn’t doing too hot. I think he’ll do it again

Mitch can ball when given the chance. I wasn’t bashing Mitch ONLY Because I felt like he was being restrained by Nagy. That whole “play from the pocket” “need him to not move as much” nonsense was killing Mitchell as a player. Of course that stuff is important, but Mitch isn’t a pocket passer. You have to let him go, play to his strengths. I feel like Nagy is doing that now. As a coach, he did an amazing job. The offense and defense looked amazing. Mitch has been playing well, he looks like he did last year. Mitch was able to make those passes and more. Those play action plays were absolute money. I agree that it’s a matter of consistency with him. He CAN do it, we’ve all seen it (2017-2018) it’s just a matter of him being in the place to do so. I feel good about these next few games, if Nagy can manage these next few games, the the offense and defense play like we know they can, I see a decent playoff run. Maybe not the SB, but who knows🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

Anyone that watched the Chicago Bears last year can see the difference in Trubisky then and right now, and it's that they tried to make the kid a pocket passer early in the season. Someone, whether it was Nagy, Helfrich or Pace should've been smart enough to kick the tires on that idea and let him do what made him a good QB last season. You have to let Trubisky play to his strengths and not confine him to just being a pocket QB. Had they done that, the Bears would be a 10-12 win team right now. Instead, they're fighting to make it as a wild card.

Riddick talked about Trubisky for a second and criticized his consistency. They have to take account of injuries. It’s hard be consistent with all those injuries. But they don’t mention that.
Because they all trashed Mitch the whole year and they don't want to give him credit and look like idiots.
Because media focuses on the drama these days. It brings in viewers. I'm happy everyone's off Trubisky and the Bears backs for a little.

Hold up. So, Riddick is saying an athlete who is a major key to a team's success and future needs to be consistent? He can't be good one game, bad the next? That's gold indeed.
Analysts are so quick to throw a QB under the bus. ALMOST ANY QB in the NFL will perform well when given the time to do so. The offensive line for the BEARS has been HORRIBLE through their losses (and some of the wins) and now the the line is giving Mitch time to do his job. He still has some accuracy issues [which QB doesn't?], but overall I like his arm/accuracy and decision making and his capabilities are showcased when the O-line does its job. The Trubisky-led BEARS will be fine. Get rid of Leno, Jr for a person that can actually do the job at left tackle and we'll be great.

I agree with You about Packers and Louis about consistent play. But media is ridiculous. Mitch had 1 year in college. This is year 2 full. He what 23?. He had a good first year. Really good by metrics. 24-12 TD vs int and 400 rushing yards. But he ain't Mahomes so media dog him too hard. If he keeps using legs and plays how he did last 2-3 weeks. Bears are set. He also doesn't have the best weapons

Mitch has ZERO long ball skills. He is a short passer ONLY! When Mitch is playing pocket passer, he sux and has zero business in the NFL. When Mitch uses his legs and becomes a running threat , it puts defenses on their heels. When Mitch got hurt last year, He started running scared .afraid to get hurt. The result was BAD! Either Mitch or the coach figured it out! When Mitch runs the ball, Bears can win! When mitch pocket passes...Bears lose! Its that simple! Problem is the danger in losing your QB!~
