With the success they are having this year I’d say he going to sign again especially if they win the chip. I think if they don’t with the chip he sign again and make adjustments. He know he going to be team leader in L.A when Lebron leaves.

Actually, it's the fact that out of the 20 wins they have, they've only faced 5 teams above 500, and the 3 losses they've had, were 2-4th seed teams.
The weak pre-season schedule also favored them as they would face a a depleted Warriors team 4 times and smash them to pieces (what's left of them anyway...) which allowed the team to develop the chemistry/confidence/momentum via blowout wins that they needed to hit the reg season running (with their easy schedule laid out for them to continue said momentum).
