Well, you can reason about it this way. You can say the best player is the one who has the highest combined DefensiveValue + OffensiveValue, where OffensiveValue is a player's impact on the offensive end of the floor. While Lebron's defense is not as good as Kawhi's, his offense outweighs Kawhi's enough so that the combined total comes out to be higher. While Kawhi's combined value may come out to be less, his DefensiveValue and OffensiveValue are much closer to each other, it might be half and half, and so he's more balanced in terms of what he offers offensively and defensively, so we can say he's the best 2 way player. On the other hand, Lebron's OffensiveValue is much greater than his DefensiveValue, so while he boasts the highest combined total, he's less balanced than Kawhi. Now, not saying that's my opinion, but that's how one may see it.

I think a lot of people have load management as a normal thing players do in their head. Literally load management wasnt a thing till Pop made Duncan and the boys do it, Kawhi doing it now in prime nearly every 2-3 games early in the season isnt normal. Playing when you can should be the normal.
He has tinnitus. Extreme pain but not an actual injury, more so in back to back games. If every time I took a jumpshot my legs felt like they were falling apart i’d only want to play important games to.

From a Developing sports performance coach like myself.load management is very integral for athletes in high performance arena its very much used in soccer, rugby.There is a method called periodization its used to prepare athletes before the season begins and during the regular season competition ,to simply what i'm trying to explain to people is you must used load and deload to aid recovery so the athlete can be at his/her optimum performance .
