It's not his fault at all. This roster they have only looks good on paper but on the field they are predictable. Brady has a bad roster compared to the Cowboys but somehow they produce wins and drives with and from who ever is on the field because they do their job.

It may be time for Jerry Jones to offer Michigan's Jim Harbaugh a five year, $75 million contract to coach the Cowboys. Harbaugh has taken a lot of heat for his inability to beat Ohio State. If Jones offers Harbaugh $75 million to leave Michigan, Harbaugh will have 75 million reasons to take the Cowboys job.
That loss was not on coaches, garret is a bad coach but that was on the players they can not stop a run or make a tackle and make every quarterback look elite. To beat the cowboys just throw screens or run the ball you’ll average 8 yards a carry, and get about average 10-40 yards on the screen and if you can run as a qb you’ll get about 8 per scramble, ooh and if you pretend to change the play you’ll get additional 20+ yards on that play. 😂😂

Garrett never had control of the Cowboys in the first place. Not only is Jones the only owner speaking to the media outside the locker room after every game....he's also the only GM that does that.

I agree with you. They say it’s a players league but they put all the blame on the coach once something goes wrong. Coaches are vital when it comes to situational football though.
The sad thing is, they are still in first place in their division. What other team is in 1st place with a below 500. record 6-7!!!!
there should be a rule where if a division winner is under .500.....it would force another team with a better record (in conference) make the playoffs instead of them...then allow the team with the best record the the then 3 wildcards host the first round game.

Garret has not lost control of the team. It's the players on both sides that win or lose games. Don't play to your fullest potential, get lots of penalties, turn over the ball and the captain on offense and defense not being able to tell the team to adjust properly to whatever the opponent lines up as and you have a recipe for a loss every time. Coaches motivational words only go so far, play calling only goes so far, it''s the players and their impeccable execution or lack thereof that make the difference. People are too quick to blame coaches for losses. Look how much better the cowboys got right after Jerry made a threat to the players...play better or get fired. All of a sudden they started winning because their jobs were on the line. Nothing to do with the coach albeit he got fired too.

Sad to see the phenomenal performance of Trubisky overshadowed by the "Cinderella Story" called the Cowboys. NFL has become a Drama series its sickening. Trubisky had week after week of being called below average and everyones on him about it. I might be a little off but he had a QBR of like 120 and was like 11-14 on 3rd down against an ok defense. im no Bears Fan but something is very wrong about this.
Soo an announcer during the game made a great point about Dak. He stay pads. The bears started playing soft coverage, and well they pushed down the field yet did nothing with the yardage. So yes Dak has the most yards but that amounts to a whopping 6-7. Not the record the “top passer” should have.

There is an ideal coach that nobody seems to be talking about. What about Bryan Harsin from Boise State? Ok, laugh for a minute, but then hear me out. What has Coach Harsin done at Boise other than win football? He does it without the high recruiting power that the big boys have too. How does he do it? He is disciplined and he knows how to develop players and coaches that go on to be very successful. He has a knack for taking down the big dogs by executing things at an elite level. Yes, Harsin was the offensive coordinator that called the plays shocking Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. He was an OC for a short spell at Texas before taking head coaching roles. Look at all of the players that he was instrumental in developing from hardly recruited, to household staples to programs in the NFL. Look at the coaches that have coached under him and the successes that they are having. Elijah Drinkwitz who is leading Appalachian State to a fantastic season, was an OC under Harsin. Defensive Coordinator Andy Avalos at Oregon, same story. Laugh, but I believe Harsin could a Rockstar Dallas Cowboys coach. He could help continue to develop a young Kellen Moore into the OC we have dreamed of, caught glimpses of, but are still hoping to see put it all together.
As an Eagle fan, I want Dallas to give Garrett a long extension.

Jason Garrett hasn't lost control of the team. How can you lose of something that you never had control over in the first place? I love Jerry Jones. He a great business mind. He's player dream. He goes the bat for his players, but sometimes you just have to let the coach coach. Jason Garrett wanted to get rid of the kicker, but Jerry said wait. They got rid of one of the most accurate kicker ever for Brett Maher. Maher was good in the preseason at the time, but he was not tested under pressure. Just look at the offensive and defensive staff sense Jason Garrett has been their and before. When you have coaches quitting, offensive and defensive coaches and coordinator going in and out as if there is a revolving door in Big D you know something is not right. The writing was on the wall when "The Big Tuna" Parcells just jumped back in the ocean and swam in the opposite direction of the wild blue wonder. This team started off looking scary, but now they look scare. It doesn't have that Rivera "Riverboat Gambling" mentality. Zeke got his money but he falls down more instead of trying to get the extra yard. We have poor decisions made left and right as if the have no knowledge of the game. Garrett stands on the sideline not looking at offensive or defensive cards or charts like most coaches. He doesn't appear to be talking to anyone on the headsets most of the time. He just standing like a spectator waiting for outcome or something happen. This guy is definitely not in control of this team. He hasn't lost control because he never had control.
