People are forgetting the most important argument is that there is only 1 Super Bowl and 1 NBA Finals in a year. 4 Golf Majors in a year gives a huge advantage to Tiger
So Tiger's got possibly 16 more chances in the next 4 yrs whereas the other guys might (C-19) have 4.
The conversion doesn't really work like that in Golf tho. In golf, the best golfer in the world statistically has a low percentage chance at winning any given major. This is because they have to beat a field of ~60 players+. In those other sports, you have to beat 3-4 teams to win which is much more likely. For example
the odds this year to win the Nba chip: Lakers: (3.4)-1 (bet 1 win 3.4) ( ~29%)
Tigers odds to win Pga championship right now: 15-1 (Bet 1 win 15)
Tiger odds to win any 1 major this year would be 15-4 (~26%)
If Tiger were able to win 3 more majors it would remarkable given his odds.
It would take his back to stay healthy for a long time for his odds to become good considering he is 44 and the oldest golfer to win a major was 48 and that was in 1966.
