the only drama to come out of the Bucks was due to the article Malika wrote about Giannis leaving Milwaukee , right after they were knocked out of the playoffs
malika covered the bucks so awfully, shes originally a chicago writer who knows almost nothing about the bucks
Right. She was more worried about saying giannis is leaving when she should've been more worried about Kawhi leaving toronto which he did. But giannis is still here in milwaukee. She's mostly reports negativity more than positivity. She needs to change.

How are there "sexier" teams? They play the fastest pace in the nba, they got shooting galore, they also score in the post alot aswell, they have the best/deepest bench in the league and they got the 2k player in giannis. Its literally cause theyre in Milwaukee Wisconsin and the media CHOOSES not to talk about them. Never heard of anyone say that the bucks are boring to watch. In fact most people and people who arent even fans say they like watching them simply cause they are fun to watch.

It's because they don't have go-to scorers. No matter how many games you win, the playoffs comes down to a possession game, and you need players who can come through and create offense when teams have zoned in defensively. They still don't have a go-to scorer. They'll come up short again

The Bucks isn't the favorite because
1) they lost to the Raptors last year after up 2-0.
2) They lost Brogdon who is nothing only 50-40-90 guy but also plays very good defense. He defended Kawhi better than any Bucks players last year.
3) Middleton and Bledsoe are still questionable. Don't think they can be your 2nd and 3rd scorers.
4) Giannis is missing 5 FTs a game. He still doesn't have a go-to move. He should have go in the post and shoot the jump hook or stepback.

@@mikem9856 I don't count driving to the basket is a go-to move because the lane will be close up in the playoffs when teams play real defense. Dunking and layoffs will be harder.
He should mix it up. 1) post up to shoot the jump hook/step back and draw double to create shots for teammates. The weakness of the Bucks is lacking another playmaker. 2) do pick-n-roll. 3) attacking in different spots instead of the top of the key.

Because we've seen this story before with Lebron time after time and in the playoffs this Giannis isn't on any version of Lebron's level. He's a great player trying very hard in RS games and leading his team to wins, in the playoffs everyone will be trying hard and the defenses will be entirely based on planning for and stopping Giannis.

It's not because they're not sexy, spicy, interesting or any of that. It's because they haven't made it out of the East once and their Superstar (which I 100% agree with) is still getting better even. Plus they're are 3 teams with championship experience, actual champions that is.. with rosters at least as good of not better.
That's why they are not "favorites".
Giannis is the present and the future of this league but Luka is about to turn into what everyone thought Curry was off the shock value of a league where no one was shooting the 3 like him.

The international players have I N F I L T R A T E D the NBA.
Bucks will probably make it out of the East because Kawhi isn't there anymore but they will get waxed by any Western conf team that makes the Finals. They are too one-dimensional when the games slows down in the playoffs, gets easier to slow Giannis down and make other players beat you.

When Luka entered the draft I told my dad the sixers should try and trade Ben Simmons for a pick to get him. Most teams would take a "proven" NBA player over a rookie. In reality Luka was the most acclaimed non NBA player since maybe Tim Duncan, and Ben Simmons is totally incompatible with Embiid. Phoenix would have gladly traded the number 1 pick for Simmons.

Irebami Kolapo The thing is that Philly literally built there team defensively like the Raptors. You have a great on ball defender like Kawhi who is elite and Philly uses Ben Simmons. Then you have lengthy defenders who can build a wall but still get good contests on jumpers from other players for Toronto that was Danny Green, Powell and Siakam while Philly has guys like that with long wingspans like Richardson, Thybulle and Ennis. Then you got strong bigs to defend vs Giannis near the rim like Gasol and Ibaka while Philly got Embiid and Horford

Kris Middleton isn't an all star, he only made the roster because the bucks had the best record in the league.
There were quite a few players last season and the previous season that shouldn't have made the all star roster including Simmons, Middleton, and Lowry.

Bucks win by 24 points today.. Number 1 in defense and offense. Yet I'm sure every major network will be praising their God Harden...giannis shot 50% for 3 by the way. 4-8
The bucks are not title contenders here why as they have the same weaknesses.
1. Giannis is a great player. 90 percent of his scoring is coming down the lane with either a dunk because of his frame. He is shooting more however his strength is his transition game and dunking. He is a great rebounder and passer. He was unable to attack against the Raptors because of the wall gasol, siakam and ibaka which made scoring alot tougher.
2. Lopez/ Middleton/Bledsoe were unable to give you that 3 in the moment they needed when Giannis passed it to them. They struggled in those key moments. Look at FVV/powell/lowry game 3 to 6 ECF he was clutch just watch and in NBA finals. Lopez has regressed this year.
Bucks are a great regular season team but when its tight and in your face defense there is alot less space to shoot. Also forget about matthews as he has not had alot of playoff experience and Korver is 38 yrs old so you don't want to rest your case on those 2.
