I watched the whole episode with Cam, Todd, Victor, and OBJ and wondered how they were going to use these quotes? Of course they would take them out of context so they would have show.

I just wish Cam could have had a real off season to work with McDaniels and guys like N'Keal Harry though. It's a tough assignment to just walk in there and start. One thing I do know: Bill and Josh are crack at fitting new people in quickly. They find ways to limit the mental burden and only ask them to do what they seem comfortable with at the moment. I expect a power running game to start the season, and this will help Cam a lot. Sky is the limit but they have to manage this process well because it's a tough thing to have no off season on a new team.

The Chiefs and Ravens have better rosters on the offensive side by virtue of having good receivers. So I would rate those teams ahead of NE for now. The wildcard factor for NE is N'Keal Harry. I know he was hurt but I also think that Brady refused to give him looks based upon a mismanagement of reading defenses at the LOS. That's bad if Cam has the same style of offense. Bill hates a certain type of talk, but I don't think this reaches any where near that level. It's just a guy wondering out loud how he'll fit into a new team and HC. Now if he said he had doubts about playing for a dictator, that would be a little different. Cam is the starter, make no mistake about it. He's going to spend a lot more time with Josh McDaniels than Bill. Bill is everywhere and does everything, but he knows how to delegate to trusted coaches like McDaniels. That's Cam's real coach.

Bill is deceptive because of his dry press conferences. In practices he often stands around telling stories and laughing with players. Well, that would be during warmups. He does get down to business, and frankly that's what I expect from a HC. I wouldn't rely on his press conferences to indicate who he really is though. Just get down to business when it's time. He is hard on certain players, true, but those are the ones he thinks need it. Fat boy Haynesworth was one. Bill sniffs out who is slacking and it doesn't last long.
